I tried MXRED on a traditional space bar and had the same issues.

The MXBROWN has a lighter bump so might be better to have browns in those keys along with stabilisers.

Ergo clears are known to be a bit weak on the way up. That's why panda clears are better :D

Yes, I wouldn't go any lower than 62g Korean springs for Ergo clears personally, unless you plan to lube them.
Mine (62g) aren't even lubed yet and they never get stuck.

I did try using some silicon grease to lube the shift key and I think it was a bit too much because it felt kind of sticky. I ended up just putting in a regular mx clear. I would like to try lubricating before resorting to making a panda clear board. That said, does anyone have any experience with the lubes listed here http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=34332.0

Just throwing this out there, anyone have a source for 62g springs :0

62g springs are overpriced esoteric toys!

You might run into incompatibilities when Cherry updates the firmware of the switches, should you use any springs other than Cherry's own!

Please order genuine Cherry MX switches here!

It's a common ergo-clear problem, especially with heavy keys that also have to drag stabilizer wires. Lubrication with an oil-type lubricant helps. Even the cheap, silicone-based stuff make enough difference to stop key sticking.

lubed the ergo clears last night and everything but backspace feels great. it is getting stuck, will probably have to make it a regular clear like I did for the shift keys.

Payment/"shipping" update

Payment from nacho has been received and marked as shipped for Paypal purposes (to keep them from locking up the PP account). Invoices may or may not reflect the payments yet. Keep checking this thread for the actual ship date(s), or spam this thread/7bit via PM the message "WHERE ARE MY SWITCHES, DID YOU SEND THEM YET." This only includes payments to me via Paypal. Note that the address on your Paypal notifications/notes are not necessarily the addresses 7bit will ship your switches to, he ships to the address on your invoice.

Paid last Friday, and sent the bot a PAYPAL message, but still received an invoice with amount due this morning. Did I miss a step? Did I anger the bot?

It seems Acanthophis did not sent an update.

I'm not in a hurry, just wanted to make sure I hadn't missed a step. Since the bot seemed to respond automatically with an updated invoice when I first ordered and when I added my address, I was worried that I made a mistake in syntax or timing with the PAYPAL message. That's all there is to the payment message, right? No order number reference?

Thanks for handling all this. I appreciate being able to order the switches like this.
