Something similar to kekstee: Cherry dyesubs (from G81-3000 SAD), GMK spacebar and Bluegaloo on a Novatouch. Feels like heaven.

Nice, those boards look good lads. I got Bluegaloo too, plus some other things.

Here is my new G80 1800 (I typed those numbers with the numpad yay), where I used a G81-1800 case, which was new in the box, a Leeku 1800 PCB, unlubed and unstickered MX Reds with 55g SPRiT springs, and USB connection. For using USB I had to cut the case, because of the position of the USB port on the PCB. I think this PCB was thought to be used with fancy aluminium cases, or if used in Cherry cases with the PS/2 cable.
The caps are a mix between German ISO caps from the NIB G81 keyboard and ANSI G80 1800 caps (again I typed the numbers with the numpad, yay) from Taobao with a strange profile. They had no R1! So the numrow and F-row was R2, and I used therefor the F-row from the G81 keyboard, and also some .
Unfortunately the right ALT switch is not aligned correctly, because there were no pins on the PCB to hold the switch on its correct position. I have to re-solder that switch sometimes.
The 'information' leds (what is the correct word for that leds by the way?) are shining red, but much too bright now. These are RGB leds which I got from SPRiT together with some order (actually I think with every order I made), but I don't know yet if I can change the color on these. I like the red now, so it is no big deal.
To get the correct height for the case I cut the plastic bars from the G81 PCB leds:
In the end it was fun, and I am typing on this keyboard right now. I think it will be a Cherry keyboard which I really use, I like the 1800 layout, and I even get some other keycaps from a group buy (Miami Nights) soon.

Wouldn’t your board look even better if you had English instead of German numpad caps?

Very nice 1800

From the bigger boards this is my all time favorite

It's strange that the RGB LED's from SPRiT stay red because those are designed to change the color all the time. I have a few myself and connected to a 3v battery they change the color continuously. Maybe the resistors don't have the right value for the RGB LED's to operate correctly.

Yes, but than I would need some English 1800 caps, in row 1 profile! The chinese sourced caps I have are R2, and then fit not to the R1 numrow. OK, I could just use R2 everywhere on the top, but I tried it and really don't like it.

Now that is interesting! Maybe I could just change the resistors there then?

I think the problem is in the resistors, I didn't had the time to test them on one of my boards and see what is needed. Bu I have seen a guy on GH who had these LED's on a 60%, full board

and the color was changing looked crazy. I will look on my faceW PCB because I know for sure that is works with the resistors SPRiT installed on them.

Now I looked on the bill I got from SPRiT and saw that these are indeed the ones you are talking about:
LED - RGB Multi 7 Color-Auto changing with 2-3 sec intervals (4pcs)

Yep these are the ones

I'll check on my faceW for the resistors value because I know for sure it works on that PCB.

Perfect, that would be great! I will swap them for sure, even if I will hate the auto changing lights I think after a short period of time.

Do you prefer the 87U to the HHKB madhias?
Try lubing your HHKB and installing silenced sliders. It makes it at least 500% better

I do.

86U and FC660C in my case. What's going on with your Alps quest BTW phote?

But it will never have cursors! No, another reason is that the HHKB feels for me like the little kid of the Realforce, and the Realforces THOCK is just more satisfying for me. And the best of it is that I never felt that anything has to be modded. So I will mod in the next days the HHKB, and lube and dampen it!

What are those knobs ? I've been looking for something that can do volume control and is small enough to keep it next to my mouse.

It is a MIDI controller, I am probably doing a short review here:

I do like the look of the classic mod colour on this as well, but I found it hard to overlook that I mixed ISO and ANSI shift as well as using a second tab for backspace. If only photeqs GB could have made it to throw more money at the problem
@Madhias: nice build, also hooray for the MX-Red 55g mod. I was kinda scared they would be too light before building mine, but they ended up being some of my favourite MX switches. Also the only ones I do prefer having O-rings on my keys with.
//e your red (or not so red) LEDs remind me that I still have to get some light to indicate Ctrl and arrow toggles. I think those keys were wired by default with the GH60, I just don't know which red LEDs to get currently.

Small update. Got a novatouch and some Vortex PBT keycaps - still looking for a nice set for my b.87, maybe jukebox if I find a base kit for sale (SP has the ISO kits still for sale)
I still have blue galoo incoming and already some OG cherry DS keycaps in my storage for my upcoming Whitefox.

I suppose it took you too long to wait for the time to try mine. Sorry.

I really like it, had some mine over so I decided to order it and send in back in case I don't like it.
The blue grey is ducky, the black is vortex.
