Neat. I just don't know if I could deal with this much symmetry.

Here's my desk and its surroundings.

[Industrial SSK SPAM]
Damn! Did you get them from Mopar diagnostic unit auctions or something or get lucky otherwise, or did you have to pay full price for all of these?

I spilled tea on my 122F , whist she drys i have a new setup and yes its even worse than it looks , i mean what the fuck is with the spaces between the keys ! Whats it made for a giant or something ! No feet to raise it up, pad printed ABS , horrible shiny case , the thing flexes as i type.

At least the layout is ok , and to be fair the feel on the keys is not terrible if not a bit heavy .

The biggest thing is the gaps between the keys uhh horrible.

I feel dirty

Oh my god !!!
A couple of weeks ago, I brought a O-ringed Cherry G80-3000 (MX Blacks) to work. The day after, a colleague complained about the noise of my keyboard: "What a noisy keyboard you have!".
I thought to myself (I didn't dare to say it aloud): "C'mon, it's MX Black, it isn't that noisy!"

This is the problem with open spaces workplaces. They don't mind conversations in the room, but they do mind noisy keyboards, even o-ringed MX Blacks. I can't believe it.

I hate my coworkers. So badly.

After being so quick to ditch the cubicle life, I too often pine for more privacy than my open office affords. Would be so nice to have the beamspring at work..

I haven't met a single person that has to work in an open office say anything positive about it. I hate them with a passion.

I'd bring a model M next day for maximum desensitization therapy, they will love your MX board after that.

Well I don't own one right now but I'd buy one just to piss them off... My colleagues complained about my silenced HHKB a little bit and I was very upset because it's far from loud.

They are no doubt complaining about the upstroke noise and stabilizer rattle, if there is any. MX pinks to the rescue, dude...

Rookie mistake. Always bring an M122 first, keep that until the third person complains, then swap it for your preferred board, making sure to let everyone know that you've brought the quietest keyboard you own just for their benefit.

Tell them to stop whining!!!
At work I use a Model F Unsaver, or a Model M SSK or a WASD Code with MX Green
when I asked my coworkers if they were bothered by my keyboards the answer was:
The keyboard is not the problem :D

My keyboard in the office is a vintage IBM 5291 Model F display terminal keyboard. Compared to the clatter and creak of cheap Lenovo plastic keyboards, the IBM sounds like a Bösendorfer grand piano. It's just as imposing too.

At the office I use this, and they never complained about the noise, maybe it's because they all are wowed by its physics!
