on impulse I thought it looked a lot like the Chicony KB-5160...but no the LED window is different. Guess I lucked out of ending up with futabas...!

So this would be more interesting for the dutch here, and I actually need a bit of help;
I just bought a novatouch from someone for 95EUR, and afterwards I saw these two marktplaats adverts:

This one is 100EUR, and it's ansi. So I much more prefer this, but I don't know if it's legit. It says on the markplaats link "zo goed als nieuw". But the website looks legit. It even looks like they have a shop.

I have had those before. XMIT looked at them and decided they were nothing very interesting, but I don't recall exactly what they were.

If he said that they might be Fujitsu Peerless; the LED window placement is typical of them. If they were leaf springs I think he wouldn't have said that.

The keycaps look very Fujitsu leaf spring, peerless never had caps like that. But do I know that for certain? Nope. There is a seller here in Germany that's selling them way overpiced.

No, that's a good point. In fact I'm not sure the square slider would fit inside the tombstone caps Oo .
Still, leaf springs are great. I'd encourage people to try them
. Probably 3rd gen, then?

Yeah judging from the keycaps those Tandy are Fujitsu leaf spring 3rd gen. But I've never seen one here or elsewhere in a teardown. That same seller has another one for sale slightly cheaper but still too much for my liking, those have been unsold for ages now...let's see how much longer he's willing to wait.

Oh yeah, sellers become a lot more pliable if you let them sit on their wares for a while. My Zenith ITW board and last week's Fujitsu are excellent examples

Fujitsu Leaf Spring, linear. These did not work with a Soarer's Converter. I had a whole bunch of them that went unsold and went back to the recycler.

Aww, that's a real shame D: . I guess it's hard to make FJS boards talk to a modern computer. They're such nice switches (and caps!) though...

Those switches look to me much more like those of an ibm selectric than computer compatible ones

About 70% of the random boards that come up here, pop up in that spreadsheet. This is my inventory as of about a year ago. Since then, inventory has changed so much (sales, recycles, parts donors, etc.) that it is no longer current. Perhaps it is still a good resource for anyone trying to identify keyboards.

. Ever since I found those two N860s my respect for Fujitsu has increased immensely! And a 1st-gen FLS video would complement the other two really well, I think.

The only Samsung 5161's I've seen are with blue alps. Hopefully not white alps, esp. at $140!
