Vandal resistant keyboards are designed to be used by vandals smashing keys with a bat! Not useable for even light typing!

Looks like NMB dome with slider to me.

It looks very much like wiki/NMB_dome_with_slider.

Someone go get this

ANSI Space Invaders? That's awesome! Nothing for me though, someone in 'Murica needs to buy this. :)

It could be rubber-dome though, and seller intentionally playing stupid.

I don't know much about Space Invader boards, but that FCC ID says AQ6MEMB. Might be a clue?

Oh, my bad then. I though NMB Hi-Tek is always Space Invaders.

Considering it ends in MEMB I'd assume it's a membrane keyboard :p . In fact I think I've seen rubber dome RT101s that ended in MEMB.

I'm pretty sure all RT101 boards are membrane, only the 101+ is space invaders if I remember correctly.

G80-3700 and a lot of dirt, still functioning so might be worth a cleaning?

K65 ISO, seems to be a fair price for MX reds

No, the numbers are extremely frustrating.

The ANSI/Apple one with impossible green legends (white Hi-Tek) is merely marked "RT-101"

And I think I've seen rubber dome RT-101+ boards too.

The FCC ID gives it away usually, though.

Anybody ever hear of this place? FKB = Focus Keyboard? http://reuseum.com/search.php?search_query=keyboard

elecplus -- it's actually Fujitsu. Probably a rubberdome.

Here's something called a Fujitsu "Cado Terminal keyboard" and I have no clue what sort of switches it has.

Yes, any NMB with "MEMB" in the FCCID is rubber dome.

The '+' in "RT-101+" simply means it has the AT 'Big Ass' Enter key. RT101 is ANSI. RT102 is ISO. This is independent of switch type.

From the front view, the best way to tell NMB RT101(+) rubber dome from space invaders is the style of the Caps Lock cap.* Space invaders have stepped caps lock. Rubber dome does not. The cap profile is also different, but that is sometimes difficult to discern from pictures.

* I do know of at least one exception to the Caps Lock rule, but its correct for the vast majority of boards.

Or you could just get some Gateron Red switches for about the same price ;)

Obligatory keyboard tax. No idea if it's got NEC ovals, but if the wiki is anything to go by I'd be surprised if it wasn't mechanical.

NIB Dauphin branded Datacomp DCK-84 keyboards with a Black Alps SKFR variant:

The seller accepted my offer of $20 -- you might be able to negotiate down a little more.

Well be surprised. :P It's a rebranded Chicony KB-5923/6923. Standard rubber dome board.

Our wiki is very much a source "to go by"! If the keyboard is listed of course. ;)

Goupil 1800, but not Cherry:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/smt-goupil-golf ... 2516.l5255

This is not the first one I see. Actually, I've already seen one IRL, and the switches felt horrible. Does anyone know what kind of switches that is? Also, I wonder if the cases are compatible.

Posted: 26 Jun 2016, 01:20

If it's made by Cherry then I'd guess G81 (MY switches) but they look like wiki/Olivetti_dome_with_slider.

As I just said, it's not made by Cherry; hence my question.

And those are definitely not Olivetti domes with sliders neither.
