Sure, but I actually value the relationship with my co-workers.

The usual response whenever anyone (I know or work with) sees (and hears) some old Model M type keyboard is basically, "What a piece of garbage!" I could respond with, "She may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts," but that would mostly be a lie.

I don't bring quiet keyboards to work to make co-workers happy, I bring them to work to maintain respect and defend my honor.

I use a model F 122 in work, they will live with the click and like it that way.

Apple tell customers what they want and force shit they don't want on them , so why can i not to the same.

This is very much true for me as well. That I happen to enjoy typing on Topre Type-S rather a lot is a mere coincidence...

Just got this amazing keyboard from Wodan, a big thanks to him for cleaning it up and making it ready to work as soon as I opened the box! The IBM will now replace my Ducky Mini (1st gen.) as my daily driver Shame that the wrist rest is like 5mm shorter from both sides than the Model F, but it looks great nonetheless.

I love those little stands for your speakers.

Also, you need to rotate that mouse pad

Now I know why it took so long to get to you! You're knee deep in snow. Model-F keyboards have very bad traction on snow

The speaker stands are made from square aluminium tube which I sanded with eccentric sander to give it a sparkly finish after that I slotted a piece of wood to fit in. The tubing was excess and was going to trash and the wood I just had laying around, so they were practically free!

Are they genelecs ?

We have loads of them in work , and one set of the big ass bad boys . MMM sexy!

Yea they are 6010A, got them once for a reasonable price and never regretted getting them. Great sound given the size, but really need a subwoofer (which is the whit box showing a bit in bottom right of the picture).

I really hope that one day I'll have the money and space for something like the 8260. I once got a chance to listen them and ever since they have been in the wishlist. How do you like the sound of the bigger ones you have at work? Do you think they are even remotely worth their huge price tag?

I would not even like to say , they are amazing, clarity is super good but as you say , they are expensive.

Will black curtains look better in my setup lads?

Saw something like this on eBay Germany recently branded as a Reuters board with Cherry as the vendor on the label. Had what appeared to be a proprietary connector (at least it didn't look like anything standard) so how did you get this thing running?

It sold for over 100€ and I was intimidated by not know how I could get it into USB.

They Reuters keyboard was a G80-9009 (wiki/Cherry_G80-9009) while the one on the picture is a GMK made custom design. They don't have much in common afaik except for a few similair looking keycaps

As explanation, I bought for cable organization some cable grommets (20 pieces for 2,7€ I think it was a nice deal, still waiting for the delivery from china) also a usb dock for build in the table. I also want to build a soarers into the table (I will modify the usb dock a bit). Also I planned to build some rgb backlight combined with a pro micro as ambient light. I know its a bit messy, but I like it. In the last time I soldered some stuff so my soldering iron is still visible (I thought about buying a digital one). I like the lock of the table. The scale stands there because its no empty place in the kitchen and I often have to weight stuff for calculation postage costs. The other stuff behind it, are glasses and boxes of switches and stuff which don't fit anymore in my organising boxes. Its my first own apartment after moving out from my parents and only a one room apartment, for two persons its a bit small. The table of my GF is next to my desktop, the flowers are hers, they are from our first date, some years ago and she dried them to have they standing on her desk. My other desktop is still at home, where also my audio stuff and co. is. I miss my audiosystem (5.2 jbl speakers with a yamaha receiver, I will post pictures when I have time). But its such big that it will never fit in the apartment, also two subwoofers are a bit to loud .
Btw its not longer a fssk, a other happy user have it now, I have model F AT now which I like more (I will modify it soon to a iso layout which model m spacebar and ctrl/alt keys, maybe even a solenoid). The keyboard on the desk is a ssk .The other keyboard is a novatouch (which still wait for some SA keycaps).

Amiga NMB (space invader) keyboard in black CDTV case
IBM SSK + matching white DT225 USB
Main PC was pretty beefed up Mac Pro from 2010 (last proper Mac Apple made), secondary was overloaded Amiga 500 Tower with 060, Picasso IV, Deneb USB and other nice things.
Also visible my then favourite phone - Blackberry Bold and my first iBook G3 500 which I still have (since 2003).
Oh and my Grados SR125 which were insanely modded - vented drivers, replaced foam pads, replaced grills, and obviously recabled. RIP though, they were destroyed by a headphone amp I'm using now with Beyers DT880 (300 ohm).
My current setup seems pretty peasant compared to that, but honestly, I wouldn't swap

I recognized the Dell 30" instantly! My boss had that one for a long time until really recently, and I love that brick style.

I also have this photo with HHKB and my favourite speakers (Focal 807V) which I still use with my TV set. That's from about the same time, maybe a year later.
It is also my previous HHKB, it was so worn out when I was selling it that hjkl, left cmd and fn were almost linear
My current one is almost never used, it's also silenced with Hypersphere's rings.
