okay so 8 is not the MOQ is just the tier. The kit will be ordered anyway. So why are you saying that it is endangered?

He is saying they are in danger of having their prices raised due to insufficient demand.

But it looks like there are two factors in the pricing - the number of that specific set bought and the total number of key caps. This seems to be quite fair to me.

But: If the price gets up, people might jump off. Please notivce that these are a lot of keys and they are more expensive than the price of these kits shows!!!


If someone wonders about only 2 DK and 2 NO kits: They are almost the same and share a lot of keys with DE and SE, so no problem here.

What will be the next steps? Let's say you get a new pricing on monday and will adjust all prices accordingly during the week. Then everyone will order new stuff because prices are lower and because you keep adding options. Will the payment deadline still be 2013-12-16, so the order to SP goes out as planned? Is january a planned production slot offered by SP?

I added the payment deadline today. I might move that. Payment deadline to me means not necessaryly that you can't order stuff afterwards, but after that deadline, I will clear old orders that had not been paid for.

As for SP's production slots, I don't have any idea at the moment. I will ask for that.

Cry, most definitely cry. I'm fairly certain this has a wider appeal than the apparently not that popular red alphas. However, seeing as this was introduced so late in the GB it might sadly be quite hard to reach the MOQ for black language kits.

I for one would buy at least one set of black alphas if I could only get them in Swedish. I guess I could always buy 48 blank black keys, but it's not really the same – especially since there are no blank mods outside of the white/gray kits and no blank ISO Return keys in any color.

Too bad that my dance pad for Stepmania is way too large to use MX keys

I've got HONEY/ALPHAINT/RED and HONEY/INTER/RED (on the endangered list) - if you decide to remove the later (or it becomes excessively expensive) will I be able to remove the first at that point?

Just wondering why the equals key "=" is on R4 in all the numpad/numeric kits? Any chance of getting this on R1? That way it will fit better on Filco / Leopold keypads.

I'd also like it on Row 1 for my number row replacement plan.

I have it in row 4 on my Tipro. It is automatically also available in row 2 for free!

Indeed, the blank option just isn't the same, and is frustrating when there is a "nearly" ALPHA kit. Blank ISO returns are a surprising omission, though at least the non-blank key would go with the base kits. For what it's worth, there is a blank blue ISO return available (still, I think) from the Round 4 SPH leftovers.

I would find funds to order one 102/5 UK set in black if the language kit was available, but I'm not in a position to buy multiple sets on top of my existing order to make it happen.

Is there anything that can be done for black language options?

@7bit Earlier you said that all ErgoDox thumb keys were R3, but this: http://deskthority.net/wiki/File:HONEY_ERGO_sample.png shows four of them as being R2. Was your earlier statement correct, or is that diagram correct?

Also, putting in a vote that I would seriously considered black alphas. I'd also seriously consider grey alphas.

Edit: I see the black ones. Still think grey would be nice
