When a seller makes a listing there is a choice for "exclusions" and another selection for something like "don't show listings in places that I won't ship to"
Unfortunately, I have had a few instances where a buyer got in the back door and bought (and paid for) an item from a location where I did not want to sell to. For example, there are countries where international postage, even for a supposedly "flat rate" box is far higher than the norm (Morrocco is one that I know about from bad experience).

I have one of these that I picked up from Weirdstuff in Sunnyvale, CA. (Mine isn't that clean, yet.)
It works well with a regular old PS2 to USB converter and gets about 2KRO. Those are cream damped Alps switches, a bit heavier than orange Alps. The keys are PBT dye sublimated. The space bar is ABS and uses a really odd mounting mechanism that I had a really hard time re-seating. Tip: pull the stabilizer mounts about 3/4 of the way out of the space bar to leave space to re-seat the wire in the clips.

Well that's annoying..
I do have a German address to ship to, but I never usually have to set it to my default in order to bid..

It went for € 20,50, a good price for an SGI. If you need a proxy photekq...

That's quite nice price for an SGI, especially in that condition. Hopefully someone from here got it.
And yes, that's really annoying that ebay doesn't let you know if your bid will fail or not for various reasons right until you place it. Bit me more than once.

Auction Sniper will notify you if your bid or increment is too low, up until the last 5 minutes. No changes after that.

Will it do it if it is rejected for other reasons? Because that's what I was talking about. Issues like not having proper primary address set and stuff like that.

First one isn't Cherry and the second looks like a classic rubber dome.

First one is rated at 50 million strokes, and I thought only Cherry was rated for that?
Second one, how can it be rubber dome if it is "clicky"?

Because the seller lied?

Lots of manufacturers follow Cherries example and claim 50 million actuations.
Rubber dome clicky, is a trick done by many eBay sellers to increase the worth of a worthless keyboard. If it looks old, or sounds loud, they just write "clicky" to attract those looking for a mechanical, even though it doesn't actually click.

Looks interesting... But probably rubber domes. Or am I wrong? I mean, it's not exactly expensive at 3 euros...

"clicky" generally means that the keyboard is just a little bit louder than other keyboards. Most people would call old rubber domes "clicky". I'm sure most of the time they don't intend to deceive

Even crappy loose keycaps with tons of wobble could be mistaken for "clicky".

I'm less impressed by the fact that it may be Blue Alps than by its layout. Unix!
Below is an edited version of the photo which tries (and fails) to show the color well:

Looks like SKCM Browns to me, interesting.

I was thinking brown also. I've been watching this one. It was just relisted for a cheaper price but shipping is still high. I might go after this now. It's a good example of a System V computer with some history. Too bad it's missing a couple of caps.

Those are some sexy alps caps. Look more like ITW/Cortron caps. The red side legends on the num pad are especially nice.
