Below is an edited version of the photo which tries (and fails) to show the color well:
I've seen clone Alps with red sliders. I wonder if these could be a case of clones or if they're an entirely new switch OR if it's just orange or brown with odd color balance or saturation. It's hard to see the tabs here.

I got a Texas Instruments keyboard where the keycaps looks nearly the same, it has the same home row gaps as the one in the picture, and that one had brown alps. So I think this one has browns as well.

Here's a photo of the one I have (everything except case and cable).

Wait, this is very true; I've seen that model before! Yes, this is most certainly Alps SKCM Brown then. Great find! If it wasn't for the IBM 5140 keyboards, the tactile brown switch would be one of the rarest Alps switches.

Edit: And after checking the original photo in the listing itself, I'm pretty confident that the board has SKCM Brown. Seems very apparent to me. :D

Well, like I mentioned I only have everything except the case and cable, so I don't know if there's much else to show. But if you are interested in the plate and such then sure I can do that. :)

I guess someone got excited over this keyboard. Someone did the "Buy It Now" but not two days ago, it went with no bids at the $100 minimum. If it's someone here, I hope they enjoy it.

Sounds a tad bit expensive to my ears. Also: "May not ship to Sweden - Read item description or contact seller for shipping options." :D :D :D :D
Spoiler:
Shipping inside EU is $550(approx)
Shipping rest of the world is $690(approx)

Not bad. Not bad at all...

That isn't too bad. I once got an arcade machine from the UK about the same size, used to be more expensive.

No, the shipping is very reasonable, especially considering Scandinavia.

My experience is that while Northgate cases Retro-brite well, the keys are very stubborn.

But my sample set is not large and I am not much of a Retro-briter anyway.

There is a certain Triumph Adler keyboard on ebay.de right now, on which I'd like to bid. Could you please keep this one a secret, guys?

Keyboard or typewriter? I did have my eye on something TA already, but maybe we're looking at different things :ugeek:

Standalone keyboard, in the traditional grey/dark blueish color. It's not listed as TA keyboard but has a generic title.

That reminds me, I should post my Royal/Triumph Adler Alphatronics PC keyboard. I don't think we have one posted yet. Might be interesting for comparison.

Wow in post nuclear holocaust status!! I think that one has so nice looking wear colors that instead of trying to clean it I would rather lack/varnish it with a transparent protector from the outside first, clean it only inside and use it in that great industrial colors!! :)))

Good deal here, shame it's in the US.

It looks like someone has a Zenith 163-73 on eBay with a fairly low starting price.

Don't know which variant this is

Not a keyboard, but review of some of the usual suspects from an old issue of PC magazine:
https://books.google.de/books?id=iYmIeq ... e&q&f=true

It also has some useful info, like weight, dimensions and such on all the keyboards reviewed. It's probably been posted somewhere already, but I guess it's useful to repeat it.

hopefully not as much work as I still have to do on the bigfoot F from halvar

I'll spoiler it a little: the 'missing' keycap hasn't gone missing as far as i can tell, they're all single piece and the one that was considered missing has a LED underneath and just a weird form
Also it uses RAFI RS 76 M switches

Ah.. If it's the keyboard then I think we're probably looking at the same one. I'm not sure yet if I'll bid; I was hoping nobody else would find it

Could one of you post it once the auction has ended? My curiosity is getting the better of me!
