He accepts pay-pal if you ask him, and shipped stuff to at least England the last time arround.

The location listed in the listing is not quite correct if you really want to do the pickup, bc/ he moved a little. At least that's what he told me.

Well, bought a couple boards, let's see if he's ok with shipping them - fingers crossed!

I'd almost assume the nixdorf is similar to this photos-f62/nixdorf-surprise-t13842.html due to lack of caps lock LED windows, nonetheless interesting board

Yeah, I think you are spot on in thinking it probably isn't MX. Will be fun to restore nonetheless :)

Slightly off topic: I have been searching high and low for the part number for the key locks that Nixdorf used, and that other board you linked above is only the second example I've seen with a board having that type of key lock installed. Will have to PM the owner of that other board to see if there's any part numbers on the lock specifically. If anyone here has a Nixdorf board with a key lock installed, please PM me with pics :D

This is more of an "interesting" find than a great find, it is a Rolm Systems 9755 Attendant Console. What makes it interesting? The caps are (rather obviously) DSA profile so I'd be willing to gander there are MX switches under them. No idea what kind of switches it actually uses but it's kinda' interesting, in my opinion.

I guess these could be Cherry M8 switches, like on a G80-0662.

I bid on that when it was on eBay a few weeks ago but lost. That's a beautiful keyboard but shipping such a lot would be costly. I am curious about that keyboard though.

(Shipped only within the U.S., unfortunately...)

GE/Marquette (Unicomp) medical Model M's – $66 shipped OBO

"More than 10 available." One of Unicomp's most distinctive custom customers was GE's Marquette medical division, who ordered these buckling-spring beauties with their plethora of arcane (and yes, dye-subbed) secondary legends, unique bright-yellow numpads—and oh la la, that red Emerg Save!

If you care about IBM-style MKs, you need one of these. You just do.

Nice find, but what's that, an advertisment?

I need one of these?

Sorry but for that to create a need in me it's a bit too obscure.

I prefer APL legends :)

Such nice keycaps. The only thing I'm wondering is why that "TAB" key is in all caps :)

They rejected my $25 low-ball immediately BTW.

IT PUTS ALL THE LETTERS ON THAT LINE IN ALL-CAPS, OBVIOUSLY.

Wow, a very rousing.. erm, advertisement. I was almost sold on it.. almost. :)

Early Unicomp keyboards are certainly very nice, shame they can't be bothered to make anything like this these days.

That would actually be quite useful  Well, at least more useful than some of the keys on standard keyboards. Now excuse me, I have to go find that soarer config file...

Does it really say "Fick" on the H key? Now that could be a reason to order one :D

I think it says "Fick DO."

I think it is "Fick CO" or "Flck CO". There's a "Manual CO" near it, too. I like those Pull-back and Wave keycaps.

Pretty sure now it says Fick CO, where CO is for cardic output ... learned something today, but somehow its now not as funny anymore.

Not sure how great these are, but might be interesting to some:

Amazingly over-priced Cherry G81-3000LPNUS, $175 because it's "rare".

One-handed mechanical keyboard, Parblo PR200w: £52.90 BIN OBO (shipping from China).

Cyrillic Chicony KB-5181, £12.49 starting bid, but £22.50 shipping from Ukraine. Not sure if they are worth it, but seller looks like he has a few in differing conditions.

That one handed keyboard is pretty interesting. If only it was like half the price :)

It unclear if the one handed keyboard would accommodate all the keys of a full sized keyboard. The description doesn't help as it's been really badly translated:
"Mechanical keyboard, 44 shortcut keys, along with rest of the 5 keys allow you to remap the keys on the keyboard."

I get the feeling it is just one half of a keyboard for gaming or (as shown in the pictures) using a graphics tablet. You're totally right though, it's over-priced just like the rest of the stuff I posted

I looked at it before on ebay, amazon, and aliexpress. It's a macro keyboard, like a G13 or one of the other keyboards like that, rather than a keyboard replacement.

I thought about getting it, but decided I'd be better off building my own.

Thanks for the info, that makes more sense.
I would be tempted if (like gogusrl said) it was half the price. So does that mean you are planning to build one?

The 1 handed KB is also on aliexpress, might be helpful as their worldwide shipping excludes almost all of the world
http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Parblo-P ... 02076.html
nevermind that, i'm too slow

As far as I understand it, it's got multiple layers that can be toggled and reprogrammed to your liking, so using it as a one hand keyboard should be a possibility.

I'd definitely be up for something like this if this would be a possible groupbuy :D

That's in the cards for the future, yes. There are a few projects going on that I'm going to probably piggy back off of. Either a one handed ergodox, the onehand keyboard, or the matrix pad.
