This is something I would be interested in as well. I have been wanting to design a PCB and Plate for a one-handed, 8x5 matrix macro pad for a while (8x5 was chosen since it means nothing is more than 2u from the home row). The plan is to make them daisy-chainable by including a Hub in each one so they can be tied together.

That's an excellent deal.

This seller also has an AEK II. No on the back so it's either Mitsumis or Salmon Alps.

You're welcome.

For the fans of Cherry Thick PBT caps, this is a strange mix of German alphanumerics with italian modifiers:

Lasered legends but still VERY durabale.

Immaculate SEGA Teradrive keyboard with Alps buckling spring switches. This bad boy is probably going to fetch a pretty penny.

Gorgeous =o . I don't like the Alps design as much as IBM's, but the board looks fantastic :D .

Impressive find 002! And it's another case of what I call a locationsituation find, that keyboard will never show up around my parts. I may be able to find Nixdorf's and Cherry's but not this... :x

This might have been posted already...

http://www.ebay.com/itm/112043990503?_t ... EBIDX%3AIT

...but what in God`s name makes this keyboard worth what the seller is asking? I've been watching it for a while, and he/she has come down from like $950.

It's an IBM RS/6000 keyboard that is in Kanji. I think it's more special for the seller in this case.

Nothing, just plain old greed. Still just about $700 overpriced. :x

It's pretty sad. It's like they have no passion for vintage computing, only passion for ripping off vintage computing enthusiasts.

Yeah... you need a functional S/370 to use this in the original context though.
