Can you elaborate a bit more? I can't see the difference if you compare the listed and this one

The entire album for those interested.

I'm not 100% certain, but confident enough to avoid it myself. I can contact Joan (still runs the outfit after Bob "retired") if you like and ask. There were only a couple of players in that space at the time. I wouldn't assume the pictures you are finding are actual IBM caps btw, even if from Ripster. No one is suggesting it isn't a nice board, I just personally believe the caps are aftermarket based on font deviations (only IBM has full access to their font, and their variances during the M era typically revolved around weight, not face). I have a couple Hooleon boards packed away, and the font faces have a striking similarity.
But again... Could be wrong. Hence the "smells" comment previously. Just adding awareness

@ and ~ look more like my XT's legends than the two Ms I have. ~ on ebay board looks different though (possibly different or just bad pic?).

I recently sorted a big bag of original IBM caps, all from the 1980s and early 1990s, and was shocked at the differences that I found in the legends - weight (individual keys or collectively as sets), location (some legends were so deep into the top left corners that they were practically over the edges), not to mention at least half a dozen colors of sub-legends.

The way I usually tell if they are real APL is if "APL" is on the front of the Backspace key. Is missing from this one and Ripster's too actually. Anyone have a known true example of model M or F APL caps that does not have "APL" on the backspace key?

Agreed, there are quite a few variations and exceptions, this 3178 F of mine is a good example with it's smaller off centered legends:

Is this cherry? The key caps look remarkably white compared to the case:
http://www.ebay.de/itm/Klassische-Highs ... 2216240028
The rest are all rather interesting than great (price-wise), also all more than just a keyboard:
Heath Zenith Data system Z100 (Alps vintage tee,
https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=53507.0)
http://www.ebay.de/itm/Vintage-Heath-Ze ... 1897994588
Perkin Elmer Bantman 550 Data system (I suspect Hi-Tek switches, based on the other Perkin Elmer in the wiki)
Great colours, and the sublegends for the numblock are awesome

CASIO FP 6000
Does anyone know what switches these have
Great colours as well (Google for pictures of the complete keyboard)

I'm 90% certain it's a G81.
The non-yellowed caps could indicate PBT dye subs.

Wow, that's beautiful. Someone should run a spherical key cap group buy based on that color scheme.

Indeed awesome caps and nice color scheme. Not cheap though.

I have two sets (one from an F122 and one from an M), and both would have APL on the backspace. The only other variation of the APL key I have seen is on the F8 key on an Unsaver, but it didn't have APL caps throughout the board. Pic to help those who haven't seen.

I have bought these that had ABS caps and not PBT, so don't count on PBT as a "sure thing"

I believe you need to get the original Alps-manufactured AT101, with the FCC ID: GYI3PVAT101.
This is a pretty good deal, Apple Adjustable Keyboard + Keypad (Alps SKFS), also comes with short ADB cable to bridge the boards and a mouse, $28 shipped.
