Could anyone explain the row 2 cursors in the HONEY/CURSORS kit? I would understand row 4 bottom + row 2 up, but why row 2 bottom?

I have pmed to the bot, but getting no reply!!! How this thing works? I sent pmed to BOT with my email id. Is there a email we are supposed to send our requests?

so we don't have a es language kit any more,right?
what a shame...
i really need that.
as we can't offer any Spanish language kit i don't think the set worth buying.

They are on my Tipro in exactly this way. Row 2 keys in the bottom row are easier to type with the thumb.

I had 0 orders and removed it along with Portuguese layout a few days ago.

HONEY/BLACK/TKL is the same as the new Filco SPH, right? Looks like it.

No it is not. They use row 3 for most of the keys and row 2 for Function and number row. Also, they glue their stabiliser inserts into the keys, so they are not useful on keyboard that do not have Filco stablisers.


There is one more thing: Their text placement is off-center.


In other words: Just forget about them!

It's a different colour, too. Filco's set is dark brown.

Now... Honey Black TKL looks tempting. Is the price going lower? I'm really broke. Spent too much on keyboard related stuff.

Order more, so it will more likely get down.


I've got to wait for the price quote next week, to see how much cheaper these kits can be.

I don't want to order more without knowing the price as I don't want to give false hope, he he.. I'll wait till you have new quotes.

I'm looking at HONEY/FUNCTION/R1 to figure out what I am going to do with it, and finding myself wishing there was a CLOSE and SAVE AS to go with OPEN, SAVE, and RELOAD, a CUT, PASTE, and CLEAR to go with COPY, and a NEXT to go with PREV. I can't find R1 versions of those keys in any other set, unless I am missing something.

Also, in HONEY/FUNCTION/R2, I'd like to see BACK TAB.

What kind of keyboard are you using, that you need so many extra row 1 keys?

Just a reminder that you mentioned you would include a row1 equals sign in the numeric kits. Is this still going to happen?

I am using two rows of function keys, and keeping the height (7 rows) consistent across all three modules, so there are three whole rows of row 1 keys. So I have room for 72 total, 42 on the main keyboard, 9 on the arrow and navigation cluster, and 21 on the number pad. I might even make the arrow and navigation cluster bigger, which would make for even more row 1 keys.

Show him one of your diagrams, then he'll see. And thanks for the smart idea of using numeric kit symbol keys across the number row, which I am doing too. Once 7bit gives us our row 1 + or =.

Impressive board, jpatters. There is a bit of duplication of GREEK and HYPER on the numpad. Maybe you could use FUNCTION2?

Which mount is Round 5 going to use? If it's a recessed mount, maybe you could get yourself a set with a flush or protruding mount for that use. Depending on the keyboard it might look weird, but it would probably be cheaper than having moulds for a new row made. Then again, aftermarket extenders might be cheaper still.

HONEY/FUNCTION/R3 is $25 now?
