Keytronic F&F is nothing like Topre. The feel and mechanisms are entirely different. F&F uses two capacitive pads that register a key with the aid of a rubber dome or spring to return the key to "off" state and for tactility, while Topre uses a spring inside the dome for capacitance and the rubber dome for tactility.

They're Focus dome with slider. I showed and reviewed them in my dome with slider megareview. The caps LOOK Alps-compatible, but they're not, the slot is longer. I'll admit I'd never heard of an *800 series Focus keyboard before, but it looks like it was third-gen.

The "Seller" column displays a coded indication of all sellers he placed a bid with in the last 30 days.

And yes, "all sellers" is in this case only one seller, always the same, i.e. the actual seller.
The first column shows in which category the items were listed,
and the sheer variety of categories excludes any collector being at work here.

What we have is one person bidding on probably every article of the seller.

And worse than that, the seller uses at least another shill-bidder, as can be seen here

Analyse the situation.
There’s been one real bid. The first shill-bidder placed a 1.66€ bid and retracted, what he would not have done it was not the highest bid. The second shill-bidder placed a bid - amount unknown, but the fact that he is now the highest bidder proves that the first bid was just 1€.

The seller does not want to sell for 1€, so he placed a higher bid and will rather "buy" himself.
And seeing that there are 18 people watching the listing,
he starts what seems to be a bidding war to induce higher bids by late bidders/snipers.

Did anyone get this one? I completely forgot about it even though I remembered the auction that morning. I planned to bid on it, but got distracted. That's where an autobidder could've helped, I guess.

If it is blue Alps, then that's a really good price, especially with its box, though the box does seem like a generic box without any real identifying features for the Northgate.

Remember, that while it's typical and common for the gold labels to have blue Alps, they can also have white Alps, so ask for a pic before you bid, or be a jerk and force the seller to give you a refund and return it after bidding without knowing.

Though maybe the seller won't reveal a switch. Then it'd become a tricky situation!

I'd have gone for it if it were in a better condition, but it was pretty dirty. Not a bad price, though .

Yeah, it is looking a bit sepia. I think the box just gets me, even if it is generic. It would've been cool to have a Northgate in its box, even if it didn't have any identifying features.
