That's a 3178 I believe. I have the Xwhatsit pin re-arranger PCB's and Xwhatsit controllers for these if anyone wants to convert to USB. This is the only Model F board that requires that extra small PCB to make the pinout compatible with an Xwhatsit.

That's a hot model-F. Can't believe it's still up for grabs.

anyone here get that APL model F?
here's some cheap, normal ones (not 83 key, not sure where the seller got that from):

Hmm, that's a very good deal, I'd personally get clarification with the seller on that '83 key' part though.

Seemed like it went pretty quick.

That is Cindy's supplier. Now that he knows he can get $200 for F-122s, he won't be selling them to her for cheap any more.
Also, be forewarned that he has a paint shop where he loves to match beiges, so if you buy something that you normally see yellowed and it looks fresh and good, he probably painted it.

I guess that WAS Cindy's supplier.

maybe he will be again after someone takes him to task for painting a board and not advertising it.

Seems like the seller just corrected this, it's listed as a 122-key now. That was also not the only thing they corrected; the shipping has went from Free to a modest $44.09.

His customers are commercial and industrial clients, they don't care about anything that collectors value, only that it is plug-and-play on their Reagan-era mainframes and will look presentable on the desk.

I wonder if he stenciled the APL codes on the keycaps on that F122?

Nope, "time is money"
This guy is a huge volume dealer with some finite amount of cheap labor available. Taping and spray-painting a monitor or keyboard is a 15 minute operation at 1.75x minimum wage and $3 material cost.
It has to fit the equation or it is a no-go. But if putting lipstick on a pig increases the pig's value by $5, he will do it.

As was pointed out, the seller "clarified" the sale and also added an exorbitant $40-50 for CONUS shipping fee (it's over $300 for rush shipping, actually).
Still seems like a decent deal given market values (hope we're not going to see a Blue Alps Effect on F122s now), except the only picture posted is pretty blurry. Really hard to assess its condition, plus without a shot of the back panel there's no way to be completely sure it's an F122--IIRC, the earliest M122s models look basically identical. I.e.:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/IBM-Computer-Ke ... SwH71XPGVv
I was sorely tempted to grab that "APL" F122 that was listed here, even though the price was just a bit much and I had an inkling the legends weren't exactly authentic.

Holy Farting Jesus... shipping to RO for that F122 is
$1,484.46 (the only shipping option is UPS Worldwide Saver)

In the light of that, $67.45 to Sweden doesn't seem like such a bad deal

You should consider moving to Zimbabwe - having it shipped there would be only $1,372.57

The little dividers between key blocks have been knocked out. It's better this way, imo. Some keys bent through.

I agree that board works better without the dividers, but I'd have to wonder what's going on underneath those funky keys. Bent stem seems unlikely, but snapped mount point on the keys doesn't. Suppose it's repairable in either situation but I'd still want to know before purchase.
