That Zbrojovka label adds a whole new meaning to the keyboard-as-a-weapon concept

That vintagecomputermuseum seller has super nice stuff, but their pricing is crazy high. Here, get a "deal" on a Beamspring:

That's nice if it wasn't for the shipping which is as much as the keyboard itself.

I think that's the one Chyros has, Tesla Hall Effect.
No, this one is based on Honeywell Hall effect while mine is based on the Micro Switch version. It was made for the same company though, Brno Small Arms.

I seen that and have a question.
How much do beamsprings usually go for?

Highly interesting. IBM? Hmm...

Not IBM. No way. Maybe IBM compatible at best, but I wouldn't bank on it.

Yeah I'd think so too. Still interesting though.

It gets posted every other month or so, including once by me. The consensus was rubber dome.

Strange I've never seen it before. A consensus is pretty worthless.

Should be "Misleading Edge".

I think those actually have blue-in-color Alps mount slider over dome switches, so the idiocy is understandable if not forgivable.

Nah, just BTC dome with slider, it seems.
It is blue though, so I can understand the mistake for someone who doesn't know the little nuances of the world of keyboard geeks.

This is the keyboard from an Elektronika MS0511 (UKNC), a Soviet PDP-11 based microcomputer. Not IBM compatible.
It's not a rubber dome, the keycaps are held up by springs, and contact is made on the board by another little spring stuck inside the keycap. Actually a rather nasty design, but a very interesting computer.

Awesome, thanks for sharing your knowledge with us Wanderer, indefinitely worth more than any consensus or speculation which are often substituted for facts by very few around here.

That is the same blue switch on the rubber dome unsavers that I have. It is actually very crisp for a rubber dome, but definitely nothing like the Model F unsavers!

Shame it's foam and foil, and definitely too expensive, but it's always nice to see a rare NOS board.

Here is the very definition of "retro"! A 1972 TEC 440 Serial Terminal complete with simulated woodgrain finish

If it's from 1972, do you think the keyboard would be a Micro Switch, perhaps?
She's a beauty and is available here:
