Looks like a match :)

Not so sure that the Teensy and being in the original packaging makes up for the price though

No photo which actually shows it's an IBM, does anybody recognise this?
Looks like a variant of the pingmaster:

Same keyboard, same seller, same good price. He must have a lot of those. The "pingmaster" is quite a negative name for a great keyboard BTW.

Edit: Ok it's this that chyros reviewed here I think -> https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=LfyOs694lpU

Nice! That shift could be worth its weight in gold to the right person. Funny that it's got a mini step on it.

It's a Pingmaster. Made for IBM by Alps.

I actually found your review video for the Pingmaster in the end. Looks like a nice board, but at $79 I think I'll pass on it.

(Looks like the seller linked to your review too! Guess I should've followed the link) ;)

Thanks for the correction! In the detailed description, the seller adds to the potential confusion as follows:

"The vendor does not specify anything about the key switches other than that they're "mechanical", but they feel like Cherry MX series switches to me. Pulling a key cap reveals a switch with a white plunger, which matches one version of the Cherry MX switch, so that's my guess."

Haha, yeah, to non-fanatics they usually feel, look and sound all the same xD .

I like how the description says it was never used daily but you can see how shiny the alphas are.

Also pad printed keys and simplified alps for 190 lol pass

I have already planned to bid on the beige SGI, as I'd like beige keycaps as opposed to granite that I have know, so

The switches are marked "ATT", the seller tells me. I'm hoping this is a high quality MX Black clone that improves on the original, or is at least meaningfully different somehow. We shall see. Has anyone seen this switch before? Also, those doubleshots look delicious. I will report my findings.

I shot a snipe at it, but didn't go too high in case a forum member was eyeballing it. Glad to see that you snagged it!
