Cheap amber alps! I just bought one, but there are 3 remaining! I think the seller also has 2 complete boards as well.

Jeez, I got really excited but it's only 27 minutes after your post and all 3 scooped up ;_;

EDIT: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Apple-IIC-keybo ... 3f75d9c81e

Last one left - this guy doesn't offer shipping to Canada and he has his thing set so that you can't ask him questions either so I can't/couldn't have bought any of these anyways :(

For $15 more, you can get a complete one from him.....nice deal, too.

I was one of the people who bought an incomplete IIc keyboard, but after some soul-searching I decided that I really did not need one right now. And so I requested and was granted a refund.

Keep an eye on eBay since it might pop up again soon!

I know.. Alh suggested that I should have kept and resold it to a member here, would have been the better thing to do. I just went ahead and sent in a refund request, lack of thinking on my part.. Best of luck to whoever wants it, I hope a member here gets it.

No worries my dude, not like you (or anyone else) have any obligation to provide some sort of proxy service for members here - always nice when it happens, but I'm sure it'll get scooped up by somebody from here anyways.

On another note - I've found 3 boards with really clean Pine white alps, anybody know which would be the best to get? Options are a Datacomp DFK101, SGI AT101 or a Focus FK2001. Aesthetically they're about all equal to me - all are really clean with minor yellowing, so really just curious as to which of these boards is considered the most well built.

That SGI AT101 (the SGI Granite, I'm assuming) is an unusual one, because as far as I know, they never came with white (clicky) Alps. Perhaps that one actually has white damped Alps?

or light shade of pine cream damped?

That would be my guess. I once had an SGI with white damped Alps.

Ah, yeah that's my bad then - I didn't really pay too much attention. I think they're almost certainly white damped ones, in which case I'll probably pass on it for now as I'm not huge on damped switches and intend to collect those after I've got all the alps I want first (or if one comes up in great condition for really cheap - the SGI in question is like $120CAD shipped)

Cheap fk-2001

http://www.ebay.com/itm/112306063660?ul_noapp=true

I mean, sure it's missing a keycap and maybe needs a little bit of cleanup. But still! $28 with free shipping!

"Hard to come by" .

Nice price though, although I don't think it's that clean, and the picture is crappy enough that I can't tell if it's clones or genuine Alps. Still, a nice price, and these boards are so good-looking :D .

http://www.a1usedcomputers.com.au/shop/ ... ategory=97Keyboards in Australia. Includes an SSK and an F122 for $50 each. And a 4176191 74? key Model F.

I have had my eye on this place for a while. Which one is the SSK?

1392980 is a terminal SSK. Their description is 102 key, but that is wrong. I have 2 of these at my shop, and they go to a 3151 terminal.

6110345 is an F122 with blue legends.

I see, thanks! Does there exist a converter for it?

Well, I tested mine directly on a 3151 terminal. Ask Orihalcon. I know he has them for the Wyse keyboards, butI don't know if this will work for the IBM.

Will do. Thanks. I never would have noticed that it was an SSK if you hadn't pointed it out.

Actually, he does make them. http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-RJ45-to-USB ... 1476431381
You could probably get a better price by PM him directly.

If you don't wish to use a Soarer's Converter, then you can replace the controller with one from a full-size Model M keyboard. It will work, although I don't think you'll be able to use the integrated numpad.

I know very little about RJ, but I'm assuming an RJ11 connector will work the same way with this?

Be rather careful plugging "RJ" type cables into something they were not designed for! I once actually caught one on fire by plugging the wrong brand of keyboard into a terminal. Just because the plug fits, does NOT mean they are wired the same on terminal keyboards!
