Both of my F107s from Orihalcon, with Xwhatsits installed, were less than $250 each shipped. He prices them by the condition they are in and the nicer-looking one was in comparable condition to the one in that listing.

It's a fun keyboard. HIGHLY recommend!

Assuming we've all seen the half Montery/half midi keyboard before.

This is my listing. I appreciate the feedback, and I actually was unaware that the ones orihalcon sold came with xwhatsits already. I couldn't find them under 'sold listings' when I was determining a price for this. As it is I'm losing money on this keyboard since shipping something so heavy down here is painfully expensive, but if it doesn't sell at this price I will lower it to 250.

I also can't find sold listing for the F107 either. I have watched a few of these sell from Orihalcon the past couple months. They always come converted and are sold based on condition. I seen one as low as $240 and up to $299 shipped in the U.S. of course. They are impressively heavy.

I didn't mean to step on your toes like that. I've gotten a lot of great stuff from Orihalcon and he's done a lot for the vintage mech keyboard community over the years. He's had these F107s for a long time now (there was a listing on the Geekhack market that he would bump back to the top) and I wanted to help him find good homes for them.

But he's in the US and you're in Australia. Considering the shipping costs and scarcity of these things, a US seller's price probably shouldn't affect your price. If I was in Australia and knew about these keyboards like I do now (I had originally contacted Orihalcon to inquire about any F122s and he literally had to talk me into an F107), I would purchase from you.

These are great keyboards (typing on one of my F107s right now!) and they are rarer than most of the other Model Fs. They will be much harder to find in the coming years, and you'll be able to sell yours for almost whatever price you want to sell it for.

I have since sold to someone locally for $270, since we cut out the eBay fees. It is a great keyboard no doubt. The way the construction affects the switch feel in comparison to an F122 or the like is incredible. The only reason I'm selling is the fact that I just couldn't get used to its size, the thing is so damn long. I understand the Kishy hype now :)

Definitely beautiful! The sweeping curves, at least to me, look as if they were inspired by the original Selectric.

Green Alps confirmed, it's tempting. Price is reasonable but high enough that I have to consider it. Any Canadians interested? I could maybe proxy and cut your shipping cost by more than half.

Well obviously they went fast... It was NIB at a decent price.

Anyway, did you even manage to repair your model f?

I will post updates soon, it is not the voltage but the foam insert.

Also will post a thread on my M15 and Unsaver.

A problem with the foam insert would've taken the average person here no time at all to fix, I'm surprised you don't have it up and running by now.
We don't want nor need dedicated threads for your keyboards, just put them in the thread that is actually for users to post their boards...

Correction: YOU don't want dedicated threads, who is we? You don't speak for everyone on this forum.

And I can make a dedicated thread just like everyone else does on there keyboards.

It's not bragging or narcissism it's about discussing the keyboard itself.

I am running two full time businesses whether you believe that or not and time for the keyboard is set aside for now.
