I agree with that. I go further and avoid most music with vocals in it. I consider music to be emotion and logic, not communication. I don't want other people's words forced on my thought process. (I also think most modern music is too simplistic, linear and repetitive - which drives me insane)
I mostly listen to Baroque (concerti grossi) but also like some "space" -type music for relaxation and mood change.
