Yes the quality is "old school" to put it nicely, the picture is from a 1979 Cherry catalog we have:

Olivetti Praxis 48. Mine will power on, but needs attention, and I've never taken the time... Someday.

Fun little story

Sample of their marketing that is unparalleled. We really should have some thread dedicated to their artistic design. It's provocative, yet fun and incredibly well done even by today's standards. There are many more like the following. There is a reason we like their keyboard designs

. Certainly were designers/marketers ahead of their time, and if Austin Powers ever used a typewriter... It was most certainly an Olivetti
