Here's something, have no idea what switches it has but it certainly looks bigger than the standard Dell Bigfoot (not saying it is one);

https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/323260841067?ul_noapp=true

Looks like it might be a 'rubber dome' simply by looking at the key-caps.

My guess would be F&F based on keycaps.

Interesting panic button.
Worth more than the keyboard itself:

Anyone know how good or bad those are?

From what I could find these either have lasered POM or DS ABS. The pictures look like DS ABS to me. Since they are Cherry MY you can just gut them for caps and cables if its worth it.

I liked the look of them in the past, but based on 002 & Seebart's views on the Olivetti Keyboard 1, I gave it a miss.

Ah, thanks. Shame then, I figured they might be decent considering their normal rubber domes aren't bad...

Just saw this IBM Model M go up on eBay:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/IBM-Model-M-PS ... SwKwpa~yMe

Early style back sticker and manufacture date in 1985. Keycaps appear to be original APL (see backspace).

Yeah, no mention of the APL keycaps in the listing. I know there are people here looking for them. I don't particularly desire them myself (I have too many Model Ms as it is), so I figured it was worth posting here so somebody in the community could get them. Pretty good price on them, particularly given the keyboard they are attached to.

Certainly looks like New, must of been running downstairs in some Government basement or left in storage as newer models where forced in to be used.

If I wasn't living here in the Arse-end of the World, I would certainly be buying it immediately for a future PC update (using current AMD 2400G hardware ;) .

Here's an F122:

https://www.ebay.com/itm/Rare-IBM-Termi ... SwWDBa-ffR

Actually surprised at the price, I haven't kept track of F122 prices over time but I was originally under the impression that they were more common that the AT, but this is already going for a lot more than what I paid for mine (which was already converted). Has supply dried up?

Holy shit That's insane..I had to look at the caps to see if it had APL caps or something but no...

This makes me sad..

I don't know about supply, but the price is in line with what I've seen with F122s that were sold on eBay the last few weeks. A modified one got sold for $600 in march, and last month two unmodified ones were sold for $355 and 475 (I take screenshots of interesting auctions, that's how I know.)

I have some F122's that I will be listing soon. I will post a giant for sale thread in Marketplace sometime this week with all kinds of mostly IBM and ALPS stuff and lots of boards that I've bought over the years but never had time to convert or restore. I think I have some less common new in box items like some Model F XT's, new and used SSKs, and at least one NIB 1390131 same as Ellipse had listed on ebay for $800 that he apparently sold through some other avenue as it was pulled from ebay. I will have to confirm that my memory is correct and that they actually are new rather than just used in box ;) Haven't looked at a lot of these in a loooong time!

It's up to $800 and still one day to go. :o

Looks like the supplies are dwindling and F122 in good working condition are shooting in new price ranges. When I first started looking for an F122 I could get it for US$ 400 (+/- 50). When I bought mine half a year later I paid already US$ 580 (original, no conversion). I can only say ... wow

Who's paying that much for an F122? They're not even that rare.

After many dozens went on the chopping block for parts a couple of years ago for lot_lizard's project, the market has been very tight ever since.

I now regret having only 2 backups plus my primary.

Lucky you, I will take even more care of mine (no Model F backup :( ). At least mine received a complete rebuild and restoration a few weeks ago and should be good for a few more years now.

Well, guess I'll have to list an F122 on ebay myself and see what happens. Still willing to do way less than that by direct sale if anyone needs one and promises not to flip them. I do think there's something funny going on here though. $800 seems a bit much. IIRC, the APL one didn't even sell for $600 until like a week elapsed.

I mean elecplus had a f122 on her store for $270 for a week or so and it just sold yesterday I think.

$800 for a f122 is stupid..maybe someone made a salty bet and won't pay. Lol

Edit: those 2 people bidding on that thing have like no feed back.

Seriously dumb considering there are bin examples for half the price that sit for a while. I'm glad I got mine for $100 from a member here.

Use to remember some years ago, Ebay allowed all sellers to BAN outright anyone with Zero Feedback and even those with lower feedback, had no chance of getting their bids accepted - what happened to those rules?

Seems like Ebay has abandoned all those rules that stopped these scumbags making fake $1000+ bids and running away....
