Can you take a close up of the keys? I can't make them out from the photo on ebay.

Sure, I'll take a few tomorrow. I'm quite chuffed with it.

Thanks Mu. That is an interested set of keys. The shift keys don't hav the regular Up arrow thing I see on my Model Ms. some of the text isn't the same size either. But neat stuff! Jump! Send!

I don't know anything about this computer. It seems to have a vertically oriented monitor. Check out the LONG keyboard though:

Nice caps. Does Cherry do that profile for MX at all?

Nope, it's a G84 (ML).

Indeed. The caps are the sweet part, but ML is a whole different mount.

IBM Honeywell Hall effect? You've pricked my ears by mentioning two of my favourite things.

Similar — that one's Alcatel and serial, and the wiki is Alcatel-Lucent and USB, and it lacks the … thing … at the top right (speakerphone?)

7bit — what model is yours (the one on the wiki)? The wiki page needs to be renamed, as it's hogging a page name reserved for a manufacturer. It might be easier for now to simply call the page itself "Alcatel MMK Keyboard", as that appears to be the series name, based on the label above. However, the images can still be labelled (and described, on the File: pages) with the correct model. (Obviously it's strictly Alcatel/Alcatel-Lucent …)

I left it at the DT party, because it was the first thing I got out of my car and then MrInterface hid it behind some tables he re-arranged.

I've got to wait until it is back home ...

I can trade you with my imaginary handarbeit keyboard in solid gold case? but beware it chuckles every time you press a key, it's rather ticklish.

Already did. Didn't you open the door when the post fairy rang the doorbell? it was wrapped in a thousand silk scarves woven by chinese children who never got paid and had bleeding hands. If you can't post the Danish Alcatel board, you can just post your Skidata with Norwegian legends. I am sure the fairy will try to deliver again once it has returned from it's vacation in monkeyland.

I'll proxy it if anyone outside Britain wants it. Wouldn't mind a quick tryout.
