Congrats on the new unsaver. I'm sure it will be in pristine condition. One thing I find interesting are the custom keys. They seem newer than the keyboard itself like they could have been added later on for a specific customer. Just pure speculation but I'm guessing the keys are from the early 90s. I think I seen a Lexmark Model M with similar keys if my memory serves me.

ZKB-2 - looks extremeley clean. I think yellow alps based on 1990 year but I'm mostly guessing.

I'd guess yellows too.
The badge looks a lot less clean, though. Might just be that they made it look clean by using a very high exposure (the ZKB-2 case doesn't yellow as fast as the case does either xD) .

Just spotted these old models, which were better built than today's versions;

Although I really hate the single Backspace key, it looks alright with it's Large Return key.

the switches in this are not mx i believe they are something keytronic made. ive been looking for a das keyboard II since they supposedly have amazing caps

I bought the other one they had listed and it just showed up today. It has very scratchy MX Black switches. The keycaps are thin doubleshots. The octogon feels like a D-pad or something, it's definitely not just a giant button. The spacebar is very rattly. Overall, a quirky board that should be fun to put some different switches in.

Shame about the switches. I was wondering what that big octagon was. Could make a cool oversized trackpoint or something. Thanks for the info

So basically a rubber dome example hence the low price tag.
Geez, how crap Das has been and become. Although I did see a Das 2 selling three months ago and was snapped up immediately after I refreshed the browser.

At least for the modern boards, I've never seen an issue with Das. They certainly aren't as popular as other big names like Corsair or Thermaltake but they have the advantage of actually having a standard layout and the media buttons are nice too.

Wait a second, isn't Prototopre?

by Myoth
well it looks like the AT&T Unix keyboard which comes with SKCM Brown or Space Invaders, that led placement would mean Space Invaders. I've never heard of a Prototopre board like this but I could be wrong since it's unlikely that an AT&T board is in Europe ...

I don't know of any hi tek AT&T boards with this genreal layout, so far I have only seen keytronic foam and foil, alps SKCM brown and ITW magnetic valve.
This board seems to be protopre indeed:

Canadian French, to be precise. I won't comment further, so as not to incur in kbdfr's wrath.
