Some Amstrad keyboard I can barely find out anything about:
https://www.ebay.de/itm/Armstrad-PC-Tas ... SwEtRb3B90

Only found this: https://www.seasip.info/AmstradXT/pc2086kbd.html , which does not state which switches this baby uses.

I think most Amstrad keyboards are Spring over membrane, but i am not sure at 100%

edit : maybe foam and foil ?

It's $63 to Vermont from Texas,I think they are pocketing a little extra on the shipping.

Shitty Australian Dollar - Fact.

The true cost of shipping would be around $176AUD (at current worth). (Worth far less than the Canadian Dollar).

Now you know what we actually pay for, when buying anything from overseas (United States).

It's not quite hate because our near useless Dollar really is rapidly approaching the Zimbabwean dollar value :( .

Suspect it's the Morons in Canberra determining the value by sinking it down deliberately, so they can sell off their agricultural and mining goods cheaper than anyone else.

Hence you get use to this style of Selfish Government helping out business by making us all pay MORE for everything. Despite paying the highest costs for Electricity, Water and Sewage on Planet Earth, we have these idiots whom seem completely removed from every day life. Hence we get these type of decisions that benefit a tiny minority by making us all subsidize it.

No, I'm not totally pissed off with paying more for shipping simply because we are stuck out here, completely isolated from the rest of the World, which in due time might actually be a very good and safe option.

It must be especially painful for foreign buyers that international shipping outbound from the US is particularly expensive anyway, and then they have to pay it out of an unfavorable exchange rate to boot.

And on top of all of that: egregious import taxes. Been there, scarred by that!

Chinese mail (and routine customs fraud) alone is absolutely without comparison. Even if American manufacturers made the same product at the same price, when ordering directly the Chinese option would win hard on all of the above.

There are some things about Australia which are embarassingly shit.
And everyone here knows it, except the aforementioned rich assholes in Canberra.
You'll notice Hugh Jackman never brings up detention centres when he's on the fucking tonight show.
Australia gets away with too much because it's isolated.
[Oh wait we're supposed to be talking about keyboards, I need a way out of this...]
(What would Linus Tech Tips do?)
Speaking of government interference! Tunnelbear is the number one solution for keeping Canberra out of your metadata! Check out the link in the description below!

$1,000 is a valid price for shipping if you factor in that you get to avoid Rouse Hill.

Having said that, I don't think you've found quite the correct arena to advertise your own eBay listing.

Very cheap (right now) model M. I bid on it but realised now that it's going to be two weeks before I can pick it up in Portsmouth (also, I actually have enough model Ms). So, great opportunity to get a model M essentially for free if you live somewhere in the area.
