Wow, that turned out to be quite a unique eyecatcher. Goes very nicely with the alu case.

I had my doubts, but Galaxy Class turned out pretty well. Distinctive little board you got there!

The spacebar is from the set, this is how it was designed by Norbauer, and it fits really nice. I think one set went to Michael Okuda the creator of LCARS, he saw a keyboard with Galaxy Class posted on tweeter and said he wants one too
The set is amazing, it looks really cool, had it at work today and had colegues at my desk looking at the board all the time
techkeys.us has some sets available and there is also a guy on GH who is selling his set.

That's a nice keyboard you have there, DanielT. That Galaxy Class set is one of nicer sets I have seen in the time I spend lurking GB's.

I'm in that dangerous territory where I've got so many epic GB sets on the way but very few on hand. I don't think I should buy any more sets...

Had a play with the ol' FaceU and the caps from the Psion last night (still haven't gotten around to doing a tear-down yet, looks like it'll be around Christmas at this point). I was going to change the left shift as well but only remembered about it when I was putting the board back in the case so that's going to have to wait.

This is a novelty cap from Bro Caps, a so called UMAD Bro in a bright orange color and black teeth and eyes. I won it in a short sale by sheer luck a few weeks ago, when drinking coffee and eating a croissant in the morning at work and checking news.

Yep, luck was on my side, but expenses were continuous high. With this cap it was like opening the browser and the GH spy and discovering a 0 Min. old thread of a short sale!

Purple shift keys. When I get a proper profile key set for this (probably never really) I'll put the rest of the mods on. The slightly shorter shift doesn't bother me though.

It is the ultimate cap, it also makes the breathing sound I want to see others beat that
Oh, and hitting ESC was never so easy Hitting the other keys is rather complicated

Here is a shot of my new KBP V60 Matias Quiet Click Mini Keyboard fitted with IBM dye-sub PBT alphas and Matias blank black modifiers. This has become one of my new favorites. It has excellent tactile feedback and it is the quietest keyboard that I own.

Oh nice, CMY caps! I love the colors together with a beige surrounding! Great pictures and atmosphere.

Cherry G80-3000 HAD with APL caps transplanted in a G81-1000 HBD case.Fits like a charm.

I bought the G80 from plasticchair with those caps here recently. I have two G81 1000's. This this the one where I sold the caps also here at DT. The ohter one is NIB. I did not know beforehand if it would fit but it does fit almost perfectly! Something like this is only possible with Cherry boards as far as I know. Believe it or not this is my first G80!
These APL caps are engraved!

This is a gorgeous board now, seebart! Engraved SPL caps, wow! You see that engraved legends on your pics, now that you mentioned it.

Finished my NerD60, V2.0 NerD60 PCB, vintage blacks with SPRiT gold plated 55g springs, GON black anodized aluminum plate and Vortex aluminum case.
The caps are original Cherry WoB with mods from Feng's GB and the nice Red Esc

The 55g and Vintage Blacks combo is a dream, not too light not too heavy, just right. The perfect switch :d
