I didn't even realise what was getting people upset when we discussed photo submissions until someone clued me into the fact that some folk out there read "your picture sucks, it's too dark, use better light" as "you are stinking failure, your life sucks, everything you love is shit, go jump off a cliff". Are you people still at high school or something? We'll never improve our photography if everyone has to get gold stars or else they'll cry…

Yeah, if I took your photo criticisms personally, I would have already booked a flight to Scotland to stab you in the eyeball with a fork.

Thankfully, I always look at things logically first.

Hehe I think kbdfr is really getting a little worried the longer this situation goes on Andrew! Personally I think this is great for DT. We might get A LOT of new users.

More members is good, as long as they don't bring that horrible black and orange theme with them.

Black and orange looks cool on a keyboard tho .

If it does happen however a clack section of the marketplace would be nice so i don't have to visit it.

At least Deskthority doesn't lack the good banter that every forum needs

DT is lively, its just not as vast a panorama as GH or as ephemeral as /r/MK. Things tend to be more in depth and about the same few threads instead of 30 million threads all doing the same thing. Sometimes it gets slow, but id rather some ebb and flow then the constant barrage. The Off Topic thread has been very *lively* shall we say lately.
