Some of your keyboards might be too heavy for that "rack".

Impressive build indeed, I got myself this FC750R PD months ago, I really like these MX Red Silents. Only stock of course, but a lot cheaper too.

Grey an blue is great! Looks like a nice keyboard with good build quality. Colorwise like this Realforce anniversary edition which I wanted to buy but did not and I really regret it now.

That picture I staged yesterday:

Wow, I did not know Leopold offerd such nice double-shot keycaps as stock option. Very nice, because these types of boards are usually rock solid and good looking otherwise.

@iArson good picture indeed.

First observations ... the shift-keys with only one switch underneath them bind if you hit the wrong side. Otherwise typing feels really nice :)

So: Micro Switch SD Hall Effect switches, 6KRO (limited by USB, the matrix supports full NKRO), *NO* cutting traces or even drilling holes into PCBs ... just 19 solder joints on the teensy and plugging the other end of the wires into the keyboard connector.

I really need a JP Hipro realforce to finish this off but here is my hipro HHKB
Has those super dank 55g domes and silence x rings
Now I am wondering if I can put some mx sliders in to my realforce hipro that has no keycaps? Dont want it to go to waste

I just finished my first custom keyboard! It has 68 keys and is based on the layout of Varmilo VA68M or Magicforce68. It uses a custom black anodized Aluminium case, the mf68 custom PCB, and SA GRADE keycaps. The complete guide is available at https://68keys.io with all ressources to build this keyboard by yourself.

Nice! The blank function keys are a nice touch. All you need now is perhaps a "DATA GENERAL | DASHER" sticker :)

Hi everyone!
I'm a new member here and since I found no new member thread to introduce myself I just did a little introduction in my first post in the thread over here: group-buys-f50/doubleshot-replacements- ... ml#p398739

The reason I am posting in this thread is that I found a wonderful build here with a great set of keycaps and would like to know where I could find these or similar keycaps be it in a shop on the web, a forum sale or whatever ...
I would be grateful if anyone can point me in the right direction.
I also found a picture of some red escape and fn keys I would love to find.

The picture is from @yobinad on this forum and it's the lower keyboard in the picture.

I believe the gray & orange keycap set is "Hack'd by Geeks", which was run only once some years ago. Your only (likely) source of that keyset now is to find someone selling theirs through the various forum classifieds sections.

Unobtanium keycaps be damned! ;)

Not sure if it's still priced crazy if you do ever find one.

Anyway, there's a similar colorway by MaxKeys named Orange on Dolch. You can check KeyClack.com but early caps by MaxKey have issues you can see it quickly by their "Back Space".

Thank you for the info!

I had found the MaxKeys already but was more after the real thing. But $400? (+ shipping and 30% import ... ).
Thanks for the link though, handy when I should change my mind.
Anyway, I'll be looking into the Round 6/7 keys first, I posted about that in another thread.

Just canceled my pre-order for the K63 wireless and got a BT Anne Pro instead so I can use that one with an iPad as well. not the greatest KB, I know but fine to use for some browsing from the couch or with an iPad. I hate that iPad cover-keyboard.

@Luna, check out the Maxkey sets on https://kbdfans.cn/collections/keycaps, perhaps you'll see other color combos that catch your eye.

Thanks, some quite nice ones there. Going to see what i can find.

The switches are a slight upgrade on my Peacefoot project - I added folded paper to make the leaf springs completely immobile. The Matias ISO Enters turned out to be incompatible, sadly.

What on earth is that supposed to mean?

I've seen a fair number of units being raped during my time, but expressing force (?) in terms of molar concentration, that one takes the prize. Or was that the concentration of HAuCl4 in the plating solution?

It was a typo. They are Sprit springs and are weighted in cN
