we'll take care of US shipping if tinlong won't

Indeed, there's enough orders to spread the shipping whichever way it goes. Let's just see if there's enough stock…

(That would be Tinlong, not T!ng I presume?)

Which means that American/Canadian users pay their part of the shipping to EU or AUS, and then the shipping from EU or AUS to the US. E.g. to send one Model M from DE to US costs 36 EUR.

I have no problem withsending them to the US, but it probably sours even a good deal pretty fast.

True. I think Tinlong's getting harassed by everyone who wants a direct shipment, wherever they may be. Let's see if we can organise ourselves better for him.

We'll know more once we get a stock update from the seller. The plan is for everyone to review their orders when we get that vital information. Shipping options and estimates will be a lot more reliable once we've got all the "what ifs" out of the way.

don't send it down here to aus and asking to send it back to US, the cost may kill your appetite :D
but then again, feel free, I'm ready for any scenario

As long as shipping isn't more than the cost of the order, my appetite doesn't run dry

I know it's asking Tinlong for lots but I only ordered 2 keyboards (if they're in stock) I would be happy to pay him an extra $20 USD to package the items up and ship them to me direct (excluding shipping quote of course). Plus he is in Hong Kong which makes it extremely cheap to ship anything to us here in Oz.

Just don't want him out of pocket and time doing this favour, only for 2 Australians.

Please be careful with AT101W from Taobao.
These keyboards are not stored well and they seem to be kept in a dusty place.

ALPS switches don't age well in these conditions. I got one AT101W and while it was cheap, it was horrible. The switch was dirty and every keypress was gritty.

Good to know, I have this on order. Is it enough to not buy it? Can you clean them well enough to get back to normal?

well I guess it depends on the vendor... not all use the same warehouse

Ninja'd!

Also bear in mind that buying something "from Taobao" is like buying something "from eBay". It's the sellers you're doing business with. Taobao is just the middleman.

Was it from stevexiao133?

Yeah good point. Thought he said he got it from the specific vendor.
Does anyone here have firsthand experience with this vendor? (I know tinlong does, anyone else?)

Will this start anytime soon?

Will we wait until all interesting keyboards of this seller are sold out?
:o

Not that I really need any keyboards ...
:-)

And, in case we ever get that far, is Gulfar's claim his own or Maxmalkav's second? Because there's a whole ton of fantasy SSKs required for anyone to get two!

Sorry Douchecanoe, you're 9/10th now… guess Matteo was right!
I'm only greedy about cookies ;), the second SSK would be for Gulfar, so I thing the most fair thing is having different priorities for him and I.

All right, Cookie Monster, the updated list.

The SSK list:
Let's all have pie in the sky!

Thinking we can get even a couple of SSKs is a great exercise of wishful thinking, I'm totally aware :D

Conspiracy Theory: Tinlong sets up legit groupbuy, doesn't realize seller has SSK's for sale, people want to buy SSK's, Tinlong pretends seller isn't communicating in order to take the SSK's for himself

THE PERFECT CRIME

Started by Tinlong117

Haha, just kidding Tinlong :P

Is there any chance we could pick a different vendor in the future? Because some have some really cool parts :)
