Oh, that's interesting. Given the amount of attention they tried to create for this set, I for one would have thought that it would at least tip. A case of negative PR effects? Or maybe there have simply been too many keycap set GBs as of lately and wallets are empty.

Ouch. Some PR push!
Hopefully SP takes the right lesson from this. Blockbuster designs by Matteo and 7bit are their bread and butter (in this community at least), while random sets by passers by are not worth losing friends over. They mostly don't even tip.
The ultimate truth is the cap buying market is a small number of people. They've been milked hard of late. And PMK is doing nothing to attract newcomers.
Any chance PMK can close and we all make up and forget this dark chapter ever happened? Key caps don't need a kickstarter. They need timeless, well conceived, hard worked designs.
