From my cold dead hands! :evilgeek:

Kidding, you are free to try them on my main board, but only here at my home...
Where do you live, Ting? Nevermind, I remember now. It's really not far so you can come over if you like.
BRING KEYBOARDS 8-)

Note that I didn't actually put Zealios in my keyboard. I only used what I consider the essence of the Zealio - the purple stem. I didn't use their springs because they didn't sell anything lighter than 62g and I wanted something lighter than standard ergo clears. So I went with MX Red springs.
Their housings I did not use because my Cherry Dye-subs got stuck on top (classic Gateron problem).
Furthermore the actuation spring feels and sounds different on Gateron which is why in the end I just stuck the purple stem in a Cherry MX switch.

few weeks!? I don't think, ordering Zealios can take a while..

Your SSK (s) were really nice eventough I don't know if I like TKL. (from seeing it I would consider whiteFox style)

Still deciding if I start with the IBM or the Topre - but it's a little hard to mod them like you did cause Im not experienced at all.

btw I would try them out again, you confused and helped that much

I have a choc mini - the only board that survived the move to Germany. Happy to take it on a field trip to cologne. Just let me know when

For me, next week is a bit too early. But that's just me.

The G80 5000, obviously!
But I'm equally interested what a proper Realforce TKL feels like compared to my silenced Novatouch.
Also, the Model F, if it works. Did you do a spacebar mod?
What's that grey fullsize one on the top right?
As for the Cherry switch keyboards, I cannot say as I don't know which switches they have.

My choc mini has mx-browns in it, if that helps.

Yeah, I have time issues in the next couple of weeks, maybe in march/april?

I would bring those boards, no problem.

Model F works. Spacebar mod?

You must mean the grey fullsize on the top left. It's an Olivetti ANK 27, my rubberdome queen.

I have keyboards with those mx switches: Red, Brown, Vintage Brown, Black, Vintage Blue (? I really don't know. They are blue, but have a weird softer click than normal blues).

March or April sounds good. I want to thin out my collection and concentrate on the important bits until then.

Model F spacebar mod:

On a stock F, the spacebar is pretty heavy. Jbert posted a tutorial on how to make it lighter:
workshop-f7/model-f-improvement-dis-ass ... t6982.html

There is another spacebar mod on Geekhack where someone made it Model M-sized and put to extra keys on each side.
While I think that both spacebar mods are interesting, I guess the first one is more common.

Rubberdome queen? What does that mean? Is it any good to type on?

Vintage Brown, mmm-hhhm. Would like to try that. Soft click blues, too. The rest I know well :D

Subjectively the best rubberdome feeling (aside Topre if you want) so far.

The vintage brown is in the MX5000.

Thanks for the link.

But I'm in the middle of moving house ATM, you'll have to wait a few weeks.

I had all kinds of keyboards, even alps, but usually sell everything I don't use.
That means I currently have some MX Black keyboards, a silenced Topre (Novatouch), some ergo-clear/Zealio hybrid and also a MX Blue and one MX Brown one. Plus IBMs, a few floss-modded and also stock ones, buckling spring.
Have a Model F in the house but I have to send it away soon
Also I'm getting a white Alps keyboard soon, but I dunno the ETA on that one.

Are you up for some Novetouch testing in the next weeks? I can bring my b.87 ;)

Maybe.
What switches does your b.87 have? I'm getting a b.face x2 this weekend for repairs, btw.

PS: What's with the rabbits in this thread??
Maybe it's time someone cleaned up a bit

I'm in Aachen. I'm not sure what you are planning, and if you have met. But if you meet, I could join. I can bring a Model M, a Model F, Hall Effect swiches and an ergo dox. I'd like to try topre.

Currently it looks like a short meeting, as we both have a pretty full schedule right now.
