This is incredible. I would love to pick up some of these items. I wish the recycling centers near me would let people pick stuff up. Ah well.

I'll have to get some pics of the stuff I got later today. Wanted to last night but the drive wiped me out lol. It was great meeting everyone!

Damn, I'd love to go give a hand, but I live too far away.
I love old junk.

DAMN I can't believe I missed this, I live smack dab in northwest houston too (Cypress), I knew there were treasure troves of keebs sitting around in a city as big as this, I just didn't know it would be so close to home
I would love to join you guys next time, not just for the promise of loot but to meet other people who love keyboards. all my friends and family think I spend just a little too much time on the upright pianos. I also work at a Lowe's Home Improvement store and have access to materials like pallets, boxes (not gaylord boxes unfortunately but large moving boxes), gloves, and headlamps at a slight discount. Definitely let me know if a return trip is planned and there's room for one more!

Our contact stopped responding to calls, emails and texts. I'll keep an eye out for more hunts.

The contact did eventually return my messages. He's been super busy. Also, he's liquidating the storage unit. He's already either sold all the interesting boards (Model Ms, an F XT, a couple of Alps), or is listing them directly on eBay. I didn't find any interesting terminals.
I went out there today to pick an IBM series/1for a friend. The actual cabinets, no terminal or keyboard.

Thanks for saving this system and glad to hear it's going to a good home.
