wonder if they will have tenkeyless black/red ones... especially for around the same price as the pre-orders starting soon would be nice.

That switch is too different to give a general advice on that. Get both!

$99 is a very competitive (pre-order) price. If I didn't already own brown and blue Filco's I'd certainly be temped to buy one.

Ya, amazing when I think about that I could have bought two keyboards for the price of this (one) filco at the moment here in the UK. Although the filco imo no regrets, best keyboard ever!

So that the 'pre-order price? Anyone guesstimate what price it would be after?

EK is on record that $99 is a permanent price for the time being and this is how it was planned all along.

Oh ok, that's pretty cool actually!

Is that price cheaper than the filcos that were on EK? - I know the Amazon lists $155 but was that the original price.

Yes, that's cheaper than Filcos were. Tenkeyless Filcos are $139 including shipping on Amazon right now, and I think they were $129 + shipping on EK.

Are they actually planning on ever selling red switches? They don't seem too fond of selling that rare of a switch or if they can even get one.

Anyone know when they will stock the Leopolds? I thought it was supposed to be early 2011.

That's quite a bit cheaper than I expected, glad to see more affordable options out there.

Yeah hopefully EK ends up stocking black or red, I've tried both blue and brown switches and am interested in black/red, especially at the $99 price! Judging by the popularity of these boards and the price, I'd assume they will eventually stock them, just that blue/brown are more popular and better for a first run.

Well, i owned the Leopold FC200R, i honestly the Keyboard quality is on par with Filco, and i agree with sixty, i'll pick Leopold anytime over Filco with those lovely price tag.

Too bad that the price tag 99 is only for tenkeyless, I want to get one full sized keyboard.

And for the same price, which would you get?

People says that is a Filco with detachable cable. Very interesting keyboard.

$99 wow. I wonder how much the full size Leopolds will be. If the price of the fullsize isn't much more than $99. I can't really see even thinking about getting a Das Keyboard or a Steelseries.

Although the "No return except for exact replacement" warrant does bother me some. I know you can resale your keyboard but that can be a hassle. I had a pretty bad experience with my last sale.

Das Keyboard have a 30 money back guarantee and Steelseries has a 14 day money back guarantee.

You could pretty much try out Cherry Blues, Browns, and Blacks for the price of shipping. Although I don't encourage this practice, and understand why EK might not want to deal with it, I'm sure it happens.

It's even worse than that. Replacement only for DOA items. Any other defects will be "fixed". That said, most people seem to be happy with the quality of service they receive from EK.

It seems that panda don't like Leopolds.
