As if there wasn't enough to look for already right? The only thing that really sucks about these, unless you can find them nearby to collect, the shipping can be expensive as most weigh upwards of 15kg. Of course if you can get it cheap enough, that trade off may be acceptable.

Got the TA Alpha model in today. Turns out the green legend keycaps are doubleshots, not dyesub. It also had M7 switch. quite a nice unit. I will get some photo when the camera is recharge.

I am pretty sure that I came across one of these TA typewriters in a thrift store some months ago, but since the keyboard did not feel like it had any switch I knew, I thought that it couldn't have had Cherry-compatible key caps..
I went back there today, but of course it was long gone.

I found an online ad for a Gabriele 7007, with the the 'L' in the product number. The typewriter looks the same, has the same keyboard layout ... but the keycaps are unique to any Triumph-Adler that I have seen on the web: Island keys where most, but not all, have spherical tops, like all those Fujitsu Siemens rubber dome keyboards.

I've seen that model before but didn't bid on it on Ebay.de because I didn't know what I was going to receive. It was too expensive to try luck.

I agree. The 7007L is the only one in the Gabriele line that I know has Cherry MX-compatible caps.

Those switches are apparently Cherry MX-M8 Adapter switches, which allow Cherry M8 keycaps to be used on a Cherry MX keyboard:

Why not use more of the keys from the dyesubs set? You should have compatible tab, caps, shifts to fit on the fc660 too. Maybe check with imsto and see if they have any orphan keys to fill in the \|, enter and mods? I quite like these old Chery dyesubs, they are some of best keycap ever made.

I love the key for turning your keyboard into a keyboard.

Hey,
sadly shift and so on does not fit because the stabilizers are in slightly different places. I made some photos so you can see what I mean. Also I tried to change as many caps as I could, what do you think about it?

And yes, I also think that these caps are really beautiful. And I would love to buy a modifier set in the same grey and it should be blank because I do not think there is one with blue printing. But I am also pretty unexperienced with keycap-buying and I am not sure where to look after this. Maybe you can help me?

I am not sure what you mean :)

with a dremel and some epoxy glue you can safely reshape the stems to meet Leopold's insanity

I am not sure if I am able to do this :D
Also then nearly the whole bottom row will still be left. So some nice modifiers would be perfect I think. Maybe it would look nice if they would be in a darker grey.

Very nice outfit :)
One question: I can not perceive homing dots or bars in the pictures, what kind of tactile locators do these caps have?

maybe a blue on beige mods mix would look better, but dat 6x spacebar =)

Actually All other keycaps fit the Leopold so it is not their insanity. :D

They have none.

Maybe but I have absolutely no idea where to look for some caps like that.

Sherry still have the blue on white/beige set in stock I believe, but the price... I prefer imsto dye-sub but can't find the blue legend classic set on his site

I am waiting for my TA Gabriele caps too, and I'm gonna have it mixed with GMK Olivetti set while looking for the purple mods 8-)

Strange. On the sets I have that are the same thing the 2.25 shifts fit just fine on my MX keyboards with Cherry stabilizer. If you don't mind mixing doubleshots the white/blue GMK keys you can get on EK would look great with that. Then the only things missing to match would be fn, backspace and spacebar.

It took some time, but here are my Gabriele caps on a beige Filco. I completed the board with IMSTO dark grey blank PBTs. Thanks to Secret Santa, I had two Gabriele sets at hand and I used three caps from the second set to fill the PrtScr, ScrlLk and Pause position. The top right corner would have been too dark otherwise.
