The outside housing tells you it's a
wiki/Four-tab_clone -- getting more specific probably involves opening it up. "Louder and clickier" makes it sound like
wiki/Hua-Jie_AK_series is a possibility, but there may be many others.
I opened up the switch and you're correct. I love the way it feels, super tactile and clicky

Would anyone know what this came from and what switches they would have?

Comes from a Macintosh Portable. Should have SKCM Orange or Salmons, IIRC.
I've been considering going for one of those myself but I have other projects already.

Cool. Looks to be a naked matrix, how thoughtful of them! How much do these keyboard modules go for?

Idk what they normally go for, I grabbed 2 for a reasonable price. Hopefully at least one has orange, I can swap one out for orange if I need to but not both.
I wasn't planning it when I bought them, but since they should both get here valentines day I think I'll make a matching set for my partner and I. (I wasn't planning anything when I bought them, it was an impulse buy, I saw them when looking at model ms for donor boards lol)

You better make a thread about it!

Could anyone indentify the switch in the photo? I do not have the keyboard, but I'm considering purchasing it. To me it looks like dome with a slider type, but I can't identify which it is.
Thanks!

Looks like NMB dome with slider. They're usually white, but I've seen black ones too.

Can confirm NMB dome with sliders.

Thanks so much! I thought they might be NMB, but the color threw me off.

I have found this on ebay
https://www.ebay.de/itm/Used-Vintage-me ... rk:48:pf:0
I do not think that it is a Chicony board, but a
NTC KB-6251. Is this correct? And what kind of switches does it have? Simplified or complicated white ALPS? Is it worth the money?

Yes, that looks like a NTC instead. Note the FCC ID of FMA, and it also uses NTC-type keycaps.
It's difficult to say with certainty what the switches are as the picture is very dark, but even if it IS complicated, it's bamboo type, so not as good as the older pine variant.

That should be the rarest Apple/Alps keyboard. Weird that it got separated from the rest of the machine as the full one is quite a collector's item.

Exactly. If you guys have a source for them at a reasonable price, I’d like to know about it!

Unfortunately, the eBay seller that listed them doesn't have any more. I think y'all are out of luck unless you wanna try to buy em from Zrrion, though I don't think he's selling.

I think they might be replacement modules given the shape they look to be in. If I see any more anywhere I'll let people know. (I won't be selling these, sorry)

Anyone know what this left-handed keyboard is? The chassis is roomy enough to suggest mechanical but the colorway and caps don't seem to bode so well... Thanks!

Found it:
Sejin Electron SKM-1040, which means Futaba clickies. I'd just never seen it in all white before. If anyone wants it, I can direct you to it.

Anyone have any idea of what the ergonomic board might be?

Because it is among Mac hardware and has a translucent case, I would wager that it is a third-party keyboard for Macintosh.
With a little searching, I found the I found the
Adesso Nu-Form Contoured Ergo Keyboard but with blueish-tinted case. The links don't seem to work though.

"
if caps rermoved"? I would bet it still has green alps switches if you don' remove the caps.
But of course I could be wrong.
After all, I see the light is on whenever I open the fridge and am nevertheless certain it is off when the fridge door is closed

Wow, looks like someone has found
Schrödinger's keyboard.
@kbdfr: When I experimented with a Tipro, I was constantly annoyed by the non-standard distances between alpa keys. Doesn't that bother you? Have you got any pictures of your Tipro setup?

Any ideas what this thing might have? Its a Silitek-3000RN according to the label, and made in 1993 according to the FCC.

Anyone have any info for this board? I actually own this one, and can say its no younger than 1980 per a date code on the controller, it was made by dae woo, and has skcc cream, but I'm not seeing much info online about it. Anyone know what it was for or what system it was used with?

I have the same board, left handed and everything. It's a pretty cool board- does yours have the same extremely nice double shots?

Obviously an Apricot computer/board, but does anyone know which model and if it's actually worth getting?
