Any ideas?

Thanks
nah, that's an alps board. Tai Hao caps.
I'm curious how you can tell. What are the giveaways?
Do you know what model it is?
No clue, I just can recognise the caps.PlacaFromHell wrote: 20 Feb 2019, 04:17Do you know what model it is?
The giveaways are typically the font used on the caps, and the colors. Tai Hao used colored modifiers sometimes.
I had the later, thinner (and less brown) C64C edition of the C64 released in 1986, so I never had that problem, but yeah I can see that with the initial version.Keybug wrote: 24 Feb 2019, 21:28 Sorry, can't help you there, but this is an alarming reminder of how un-ergonomic early computers were. I mean, look at that wrist extension! Ouch, that tenosynovitis when younger self sat at his C64 all day...
This is such an awesome design. There is a working one for sale in Germany, sadly it's not cheapJP! wrote: 25 Feb 2019, 21:50 It slightly reminds me of an HP computer but I will try and research more a bit later. Of course keyboards built into desks were the superior choice for long hours compared to these un-ergonomic systems
That’s an Olivetti M20:Aran.E99 wrote: 22 Feb 2019, 19:52 Maybe not the right place but can anyone help me identify this old computer/keyboard combo that was in my dad's office?
Thank you so much! I told my dad and he immediately recognised the name and and said "yes! that's definitely it - I had to get some computers for the office but the only ones the computer shop had were Olivetti!"AlbertoGP wrote: 27 Feb 2019, 15:05That’s an Olivetti M20:Aran.E99 wrote: 22 Feb 2019, 19:52 Maybe not the right place but can anyone help me identify this old computer/keyboard combo that was in my dad's office?

I’ve never seen this computer in person, but I recognized the Olivetti style. We had Olivetti PCs in high school and they were my favourites, we had also several IBM PS(2 with Model Ms, and in a corner an IBM PC which might have had a Model F, but the Olivettis had better processors, probably more ram, and better monitors and even mice so I spent most of my time with them. The keyboards were quite good for membranes and I love the design of those PCs, so I recently got and restored one (ANK-27-102 N), and it works great after all those years.
That monitor size and placement doesn't look very ergonomic or comfortable thoughJP! wrote: 25 Feb 2019, 21:50 It slightly reminds me of an HP computer but I will try and research more a bit later. BTC foam and foil. Some of the 5060s had MX mount stems, others had Keytronics style split stems, but both were foam and foil.ZedTheMan wrote: 04 Mar 2019, 01:51 Do these look like cherry doubleshots to anyone? No actually- I was going to get this board, but I waited too long (still a bit salty lol). I asked the seller for a pic and it appears to be some sort of prototopre of some kind. I have a pic if you need.Polecat wrote: 04 Mar 2019, 04:34BTC foam and foil.
