Hey 7-bit and lal, I must admit that I lost track by now as to what happened.

We have decided that it is easier that I ship. I think I will get the stuff in a few days, if not tomorrow.

lal is not far away from me compared to the distance these packages took, but his city is equipped with a much nicer customs office than mine ...


Some items got lost. I will find out what is still there and then ship.

Or should I wait for delivery of the replacement stuff from Unicomp ... ?

Seen that you said there were spare industrial cases in addition to the ones ordered I'm not too worried for the 3 industrial cases I ordered ; )

Wow. After such a long time i've never thought that this thing will probably come to an end. I hope my Unicomp Spacesaver is still in good condition after this trouble. Looking forward to type on it very soon.

I've got the stuff here. I count later today. Seems the industrial shells are all well, but have to count them. Of 3 122 key black shells, one is missing a nd at least one cracked.

Also, if lal isn't heavy smoker, thefer... must be becuase everything smells like smoke.

Any tip how to deconterminate IBM plastic?

Or wait, I can experiment wth the cracked one first.

Also, why did certain people (mostly from certain nations) never learn how to pack such that everything arrives in one piece and nothinh gets lost!

I've expected bubble wrap, but all shells where just packages as they where with thin plastic wrapping you see in the photos. No wonder that there where so many things damaged!

I'd really like to get the 3 I ordered after so long: I've got about 8 beige Ms here waiting for a new cover

Regarding the blank black keys I don't mind if you ship only 120 instead of 122 keys or even a few less than that : I've got spares here from a previous tiny-group-buy (the one with Gilgam) so there's really no big deal here.

The key caps smell nice, because they where in plastic bags.

I only got one in grey (with text) and one with ugly symbols in black.

Yes, they are. I think there does not exist a new design for the 122 key keyboards anyway.

Wow, all that awesome industrial cases. Sadly this groupbuy happened long before I joined dt

Things that arrived or got lost:
- all LED covers, except 2.
- one 122 key black shell.
- BLACK101SH no sight of it, sorry!

+ all industrial grey shells arrived and seem intact!
+ 2 122 black shells, one slightly damaged.
+ all 5 3270 emulators survived!
+ BLACKBLANK101 seems complete. Space bar is intact.

Only one black blank set is there ....
+ SPRING I did not count them, but there are still quite a lot.
+ there are 3 keyboard boxes. Have to see which they are:

I think that one was for me... Got a little distracted while I was writing the previous message and wrote "If there are a bit less than 122 keys, no issue".

I meant to write: "If there are a bit less than 101 keys, no issue". But anyway, if it's mine: no problem. I've got both 101 and 102 keys M's so shift size and number of keys doesn't really matter. No big deal if some are broken either (it happened in my previous mini group-buy).

Btw 7bit... Could you wait until we all get our stuff before starting group-buy two?
