I think I'm going to order one from floris.cc , it was the cheapest I could find with shipping.

Yeah, that's where I ordered within Europe before I got into sourcing them from America. Floris is pretty good.

Nothing to see there for Americans, though. I simply sneaked a few over so we could enjoy American price!
Wait... What! So you were SMUGGLING! Like a drug lord or shall I say "keyboard parts lord".

They soon need to revise the "List of most profitable crimes"

1. Drug Trafficking
2. Keyboard parts Trafficking
3. Human Trafficking

You can work out my "margin" from the prices on the page. Let's just say I wasn't in this for the profit. It's my nature to forget about that. Ask my "accountant". The air quotes are all too real!

Sorry for asking this, but I don't really remember. Have the prices gone up? I'm not sure did I see 0,50cents/per MX switch half a year ago when I last time visited :D

For people that are unclear with instructions, as I was in the beginning, here are few things that got my order going (I am also in America):

Key: My comments are in this color and are symbolized by '//'

Send a message to CherryMX

Subject line: ORDER // i believe this can be anything, but I put this

Message field:
Spoiler:
// start of message

MXGREEN/NW 50 // example switch & quantity
MXREDC 100 // example switch & quantity
MXBLUEC 93 // example switch & quantity
your@e-mail.address // email that will be sent to you for information about sending payment
ADDRESS // this is keyword that the bot understands, up to 5 lines of text and 40 chars per line from
Bill Gates // Name
10510 Northeast 36th Street #K // House Number, Street Name, (optional apartment number)
Redmond, WA 98052 // City, State ZIP
US // Country (a 2 char country code will suffice)

// end of message, click submit.
Now that last part took about 12-18 hours until I got an email from someone to confirm my address and send payment.

I will now show a part of the email I received as an example here (PLEASE follow instructions in email CAREFULLY - with my example, I am only giving a supplement to help you understand what to do):
Spoiler:
// part of email starts here

I need your shipping address!!!

Please send a message to user 'CherryMX' @ Deskthority
in the following form:

ADDRESS
your address
including name,
street,
town, ZIP
and country!
(2 digit country code is sufficient)

// part of email ends here
At this point, you will send that address confirmation to CherryMX and we will now move onto the payment process

Later in the email, this is shown (AS EXAMPLE):
Spoiler:
// part of email starts here

Pay:
$69.69 USD (50.50 EUR at 1:1.14) // this is what you'll pay via PayPal
\___________ Amount to be paid within 7 days via PayPal in USD (no gift!)
To:
PAYPAL@EMAIL.COM // this is the email address you will send payment to
\___________ Send money for Service!!
Not as Gift or Goods!!
Please send USD, not EUR!!!!!!!!
Text:
SAMPLE TEXT YOU WILL PUT INTO NOTES // this is the text you put into notes section
\___________ Please, use this and only this text
and do not add any fluff!!!

Otherwise, you will not get any switches!!!

// part of email ends here
Send USD (not any other currency) payment to the specified PayPal email.
Then you will brought to a page where you can add notes.
Where I put "SAMPLE TEXT..." in the above example, this is the line of text that you will copy and paste in this notes section.

Submit the order and wait p a t i e n t l y :)

At this point, you can send various messages to CherryMX to see whats going on:
Spoiler:
Stabilized wrote: you can check that it has gone through by sending a message to the bot to check you current balance (which should be 0 if you have paid the right amount). To get a updated balance you can message the bot with anything, so subject could be "asjhkdfklsh" and the body could be "yosfhasfhjl", and you will get a new invoice.
Along with other options you may send messages to CherryMX like these:

FGYHJDHG // (basically ramble, no clear text) subject line
// no need for a text field (loren ipsum if you want)
send a new invoice // this is what the bot returns with, including balance

PAYPAL // subject line
// no need for a text field (loren ipsum if you want)
invoice with paypal details // this is what the bot returns with
Let me know if this helps anyone or if I should take this down. I just figured this would help people that are confused with any instruction, because like I, I want to be sure of everything is right :p

Can't wait for my switches! Thanks again,
jef

Very good stuff, I would definitely find this helpful as a first time buyer; when I bought the first time I just did some back and forth messaging with the bot. Might have been the language I used but I seem to get replies very quickly now ;)

Should probably mention that when the payment has been made, you can check that it has gone through by sending a message to the bot to check you current balance (which should be 0 if you have paid the right amount). To get a updated balance you can message the bot with anything, so subject could be "asjhkdfklsh" and the body could be "yosfhasfhjl", and you will get a new invoice.

No, you probably remember the provisional price for the RGB switch preorder, but since the lead time for them is longer even than Round 5, they are not on offer any more!
