last one was $1995 on ebay, i wouldn’t worry so much about conversion since one can easily just stick a premade soarers converter on it for $40 or whatever they cost now.
the most important thing i think is condition, how clean is it? any rust, damage, etc - this will all make a large difference. generally pricing is kind of ambiguous because they come up so rarely that there is no consistent market value, especially with how fast the market is moving nowadays
As far as I know, this particular model (6016732) is for the IBM 5085 system, based on it being close to the 6016730 model number commonly used as the IBM 5085 keyboard. If this is true, it is not compatible with Soarer's converter due to it using a serial connector.
Hopefully there's no sort of damage or a large rust problem. I will be cleaning the board once I get my hands on it, regardless if I end up wanting to sell or keep.

It's also for sale if anyone is interested.
Oh dear, someone else just impulse bought a Nixdorf keyboard thinking they will have nixie switches as well.

The magvalve Nixes have little market value as they're generally the ones people DON'T WANT. Which I find very ironic because these magnetic valve versions seem much more interesting than Nixies xD . The pricing should be the other way around! xD

Interestingly enough the flipout feet on that seem to be the same kind that are on my
podworld. Unsure if there is a connection though. The switches look interesting and the caps appear to be high quality so it should fetch a decent price although it doesn't appear to be a super sought after board so who knows.

mike52787 and me have both sold one for around 350usd shipped in the same state as yours
Plasma wrote: AT&T 122 key buckling spring terminal keyboard. ~1990
I'd say 70usd, they're not very sought after and I think there isn't a lot of demand sooo that'd be fair I think.
testarossa wrote: I think white ALPS.
around 40euro
Mizar wrote: Hey, I have this keyboard with blue alps switches, it's a Monterey K104. What's the going price for such a keyboard?
around 220usd depending on the condition of the switches

Getting ready to sell some of this stuff I picked up last month. Just wondering if these are reasonable prices or not.
Everything has been cleaned quite well (cases washed, dust eradicated, keycaps ultrasonic'd). I've also converted all the boards to USB

Hey guys, I've found a Canon AP typewriter that most likely has alps compatible caps, but the seller wants $80 for the typewriter. Is it worth it? Could I potentially sell the caps for more?

How much do you think would be a reasonable price for this goober? (assuming it's convertible)
All the keycaps are single piece except for the yellow/red ones. It also cleaned up really nicely.

Free Dell AT101W chassis? I have an SGI protocol Granite keyboard that I’ve heard could be compatible with a transplant. But I’m guessing it’s quite the wrong organs we’re talking about! Seeing as the Silicon Graphics case and the caps are the bits I want to use…

I would be worth more if it had the famous "Urine" key.
Otherwise, isn't that just a standard PS/2 cable on a conventional Model M?

Fudge, I thought people were joking about a "urine" key like (i.e. this keyboard is from a hospital, of course it's seen all sorts of bodily fluids)
It is a normal PS/2 cable but it wasn't working when I tried with Soarer's. I only played with it very briefly so it may have been my error.

I have a couple of industrial model M shells I bought from Unicomp years ago. Unfortunately, due to a mistake on their side, I received wrong halves. Top half is normal while the bottom is for an M13 and has two holes for cables. They don't fit perfectly but once you cut off a small nub, they should. What is this worth?
Cheers

I have a malfunctioning Chicony KB-5160 with Mitsumi KLT-11 switches. Is it worth trying to sell it as is or de-soldering the switches to sell separately?
Edit: returned the board after learning that the switches are very unpopular.

I also have a Northgate Omnikey Evolution and Omnikey Ultra. How much are each of these boards worth?

Hi, new to the forum here but was stopping in to make use of the marketplace.
How much is my Ducky One TKL (Rainbow, no LED) with clear switches worth? I've been throwing it up for 70 in a few spots but I don't think many people browsing the usual online markets are shopping for mechanical keyboards.

I'd like a price check for the below board. It's an Alps64 keyboard (Alps64 PCB and black hasu plate) with SKCL green alps switches desoldered from on old Zenith board. They are bit scratchy but I plan to lube them. It also has AEK II keys and a cheap Chinese white case.

A few checks:
Good condition AT101W, Matias Click switches, restored and painted backplate, original keycaps.
Good condition AT101W, Matias Click switches, restored and painted backplate, new Tai-Hao doubleshot keycaps (if the spacebar works with the Matias stabs).
Wyse WY-30, retrobrighted, restored and painted backplate, converted to USB (external converter) new RJ-9 cable, retooled BOX Navy and/or Jade switches, (the F1 keycap is missing and would be replaced with a blank, relegendable, or transparent keycap)

Hi guys. I recently got my hands on an IBM Model M4, pretty much similar to this one, except it's a Norwegian layout.

Any idea what it's worth? Working perfectly as far as I can tell, although a bit dirty.
PS: Not sure if the trackpointer is working, but I just haven't checked.

I don't have this keyboard yet, but how much would a black badge Industrial Model M be worth?
