Alternatively, anyone know how I could convert these keys to MX? They are some of the coolest caps I've ever seen.

Those big old Stackpoles probably could take an adapter in their boxy stems. If someone were to make them, and you could handle the layout.

Underneath the stackpoles there's actually a large cross like a larger version of MX that the stackpoles connect to. Unfortunately they are too big and too shallow (close to the top of the cap) to fit on an MX stem.

The Stackpole mount in those caps is actually an adapter?

If so, that means you've a lot of room for any other kind of adapter to replace them. Maybe you could even put these guys on Topre. It's easier to adapt a cap with space inside than one with a big stem in it.

no clue what switches are in there but maybe someone finds it interesting anyway

(item description says:

the front one is a Apple design keyboard, regular rubberdome, caps might be Alps compatible depends where it was made. The one behind it looks like an AEK II so cream Alps most likely.

Some explanation so you're not confused. Most caps have only one stem obviously, which looks like the middle part of that key, with the black pole in stuck into it. I'm not sure what's up with this key that has 3 mounts, one of which is not a cross for some reason.

Old keyboard for presumably cheap. Looks like some kind of PC XT layout, can't spot more because of the dust cover above it. Description says, "everything apart from the crossed out items still available". Take a look here: http://www.ebay.de/itm/261354876313?ssP ... 1436.l2649

Amstrad keyboard, most likely some bad linear switch.

I just noticed the "IBM System 3 Model 10 Terminal 3277" (that was taken down) has been relisted.

Yup. They're pretty rare over here. Halvar picked up the last one to show up on Ebay in Europe, a terminal SSK from England, on my tip!

That seller has been trying to sell that keyboard for quite a while. It didn't sell at $99 (I offered $50) and now he has inexplicably nearly doubled the price. Maybe he has been reading about xwhatsit's controller and expects higher demand for beam springs.

This exact keyboard had been offered here on DT:
http://deskthority.net/marketplace-f11/ ... t6612.html
before being put for sale in October on eBay where it sold for 56 EUR:
http://www.ebay.de/itm/190937792719?&orig_cvip=true
It now has been relisted after obviously the sale was not finalized.

I think you would have more luck if you sold just the doubleshot and parted out the switch. That model of keyboard is pretty much useless since it uses some terminal protocol for special Alcatel phone center thin client. People more inclined to buy keycap for good price without having to pay expensive shipping. I just sold set of mine that was very very shiny for $40.
