Why do you take pics with a tripod but leave the flash on?

Mine arrived yesterday, i cant beleive 2 years waiting...more than that actually. Its worth it :)

Board = Filco
Order = ROUND3/STANDARDPT
+ ROUND3/PT

- Left Shift is short, should be wider, too small and it notices a gap
- Return key is missing, nowhere to be found
- Key between return and backspace is too short, as its different from my country layout i guess that was the problem.

Is there anything that you can do about this 7bit?

Please Please Please :)

Apart from 3 problems, all is pefect.

Thanks 7bit

Those 3 problems are no 3 problems. At least not to me.
:o

- The 1.75 units Shift is for keyboards which require it on the right hand side.

- The J-shape Return should be part of the STANARDPT kit, but not the m-shape (2.25 units) because it is an ISO kit.

- I'm not sure there even existed a 1.5 units key for PT layout.

+ The only wrong key I can see is the << >> key which is in GX not GE. Didn't I add the correctly colored replacements?
:?

I will search for the correct color of «» when i get home.

Can you get me an ISO Return button for my filco? I didnt know that. For the left shift should i have it on the package too or can you send me a correct one too?

Is it possible to order a ^~ 1.5 for my set? This Filco as the wrong layout for PT set thats why its confusing.

m just a noob trying to have a super cool Standart set to remmember his old days of computing :)

Thanks again 7bit
Danke
Obrigado

Why would you need a 1.5 ^~ key?

According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:KB_Portuguese.svg you should put it on the left of your return key...

EDIT: Or wait, are you trying to convert an ANSI keybaord to ISO just by replacing the caps? Because that rarely works well...

Thanksf or the reply,

i just want the best alternative for that ~^ key on my Filco, maybe it cant be ordered :(. You can see that there is a big difference in size on that spot.
Also Im double checking when i get home the left Shift and the «» correct color.

Thanks for the replys, im noob and for that reason i was waiting for the package to see what iv done wrong.

I think the main problem is that he is trying to put a ISO-PT keycap set on a US-ANSI keyboard.
Due to their layout differences certain keycaps won't fit properly.

Please report errors in received kits
(missing keys, wrong legends, row, color)
to 7bit_R4 in the following way:

Code: Select all

MISSING
ROUND3/TERMINAL:
J-shape RETURN missing
<> one too many
CAPS LOCK key has upside down legend
RETRO/STANDARD:
* of numpad is missing.
...

Hint: MISSING is a keyword which makes sure the following text is written to a file which lists you missing keys!

You get a message with the registered list of missing keys. If not, the submission had failed!

Please, also provide photos, but do not attach these
to the message, because my script does not read the
attachments!

Just add links to the photos.

We had to pay $3500 per space bar mold.

Just run another spherical group buy. Please don't forget to order molds for the 2.25 units and 2.75 units keys as well ...

Hint: MISSING is a keyword which makes sure the following text is written to a file which lists you missing keys!
This was my pn:

Code: Select all

Missing
Noir/StandardDE
, of numpad is missing
Phantomesc is missing
But i didn`t got a message with a list so i think i did something wrong?

Is there also another keyword for too much delivered caps?

Posted: 25 Jul 2013, 13:13
by 7bit
Now, you got one.

If you got too many keys, just say so in the same message. Might be helpful for me to know where to get an extra key if I don't have any reserve left.

BTW: There was never a komma key for DE layout-numpads.

All caps are just perfect, thanks!

1 thing: Am I the only one having a hard time seeing the text on the retro keys in daylight?

Yes. I suggest you consult an eye specialist!
