1. What colours can we specify or is it just black/white/grey/red ? Or can we specify anything from the signatureplastics colour code inventory.
2. What size is the ISO enter key? i.e 1.25ux2ux1ux1u or 1.5ux2ux1.25 because the picture looks like the latter and I need the former.
3. Does the key have to be from the signatureplastics SA family?
4. Does a two unit keycap have two or three stems because I need one with two stems with the spacing making them identical to having two single unit keys together.
5. I can't find in round 5 a custom size for a 1x4 SA and since sigplastics offer the 1x4.5 in DCS only I would assume round 5 offers both types.

6. Is this shipping this month and next? Am I too late?
thanks
The only things available are what you see here: http://deskthority.net/wiki/R5_leftovers

Then you need to unsolder/resolder the switches only once, in order to replace the plate with the customized one, and you are all set.
Seems like a good option too, although searching around I couldn't find any open GBs for plates. Do you know how often they show up?

That's pretty cool but I don't have I SO keys. Or need an ISO layout.
It's both asci and ISO actually!
From both diagrams and actual pictures later in the thread it looks like it's a 60% with the option of adding on the numpad. Am I misunderstanding?

It's more like the otherway around. It's a 60% with the numpad and the PCB is designed to let you cut away the numpad.

You can get an aluminium plate right now from Techpriest@GH, or register for a later GB of steel ones (it may take a while though, as he wants to sell the aluminium ones first) :

http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=537 ... msg1321272

(also of course check the first post in that same thread for info)

If you buy one, you will have to do some "clip filing" very similar with what WFD does in this clip:
Spoiler:
... and it is also possible that you'll have to file/cut 1-2mm from the bottom of the plate to make it fit the QFR case, and to drill some other holes for LEDs etc.

The numpad isnt static. You can get a case / blockers and make it a D-pad with nav cluster above it if you wanted to. Its fully programmable.

I am a group buy retard. Can I specify anything that SP offer on their website in a group buy or am I limited. Sorry If I am wasting anybody's time asking this. For instance I need an SA 4 unit spacebar for a specific row, a double unit back space with custom mount spacing and a custom modifier set without some certain keys. A base set of a certain shade of white in DCS PBT doubleshot as well as an iso enter key of a certain size. Do I just provide the product codes to 7bot then

No. You can only buy what is listed in the Round 5 leftovers wiki page:

DCS profile is not available in this GB, just SA and just exactly what is listed in the wiki leftovers page. All of these are SA ABS, to be precise.

You can buy other stuff directly from SP by using their inventory page:

thanks , been messaging them they charge $35 a cap outside of group buys. When is the next group buy for dcs. Could I still order a leftover SA ABS 4 unit spacebar from this leftover group buy? I stioll don't know if I can specify size or row. I've had a good look in the leftover wiki - sorry about that

$35? If you look at that link, it says that it's $1 per keycap. Those are all blank, though. Maybe you were looking for legended caps!

The stuff in the wiki is exactly what's left over, it has the row and size in the images.

Round 4 SPH grey is slightly different to Round 5 grey.

Round 4 was GD, Round 5 is GPA. The whites are also slightly different (Round 4 SPH used WV, Round 5 will use WFK).

The differences are due to different aims - matching different keyboards (Symbolics Space Cadet and Honeywell terminal)

Here is some of the grey debate, along with a helpful grey colour ring sample comparison:

ps. I'm too scared to post my Round 5 order

Ah, that thread was a blast from the past: Round 5 the very day that GREY hit. Horror, delight, tension and anxiety. Sweet! Back in the days when we were waiting for Godot to show up with our caps…

Wait a minute!

Round 5, ladies and gentlmen: What a trip.

Right, "waiting for Godot" .... that's full of hope :P
But it could be worst, waiting for GH60, that would be something ....

Sure, it's a bit of a downer. But the cast is amazing!
