They don't have molds for hat caps, but rumors say, that in Round 6 there will be a row 3, 1.5 units hat cap available.

Yslen wrote:So where did we land on the grey ANSI `~ and |\ keys, either as part of HONEY/STANDARD125 or as separate keys?
Will be available separately, later ...

!! So that's 2 hat keys on every ansi board, at least 5 on every no winkey / 7u space keyboard...

How about including 4.5 size space bars? KBT Pure Pro uses this, TEX beetle uses this, and I think many more 60% size keyboards with arrow keys will adopt this size of space bars. Please consider seriously. ;)

Round 8.
:o

Round 7 will see a 10 units space bar.

Ordered more stuff. Will I get an invoice for everything i've ordered together or a seperate invoice for the additions? I've not paid for anything yet, so don't want to confuse things later on!

It is the users who are confused about the output of the bot!

Available in these kits:
HONEY/ALL
HONEY/ISO/RED
HONEY/STANDARDISO/BASE/RED
HONEY/TENKLESSISO/BASE/RED
HONEY/TKLISOBASE/RED

HONEY/ISO/RED what's in this one? It's not on the wiki.

Huzzah! And with that my order has expanded once more--now I'm just waiting on the ordering code for [ ` ~ ] to complete my vision:

I'm trying to stay as true to the original layout/pattern which inspired this GB--narrowly resisting the temptation to add a couple of the R4 "SHIFT" (and/or "BACK SPACE"/"RETURN") keys. We're so far from, "Oh hey, it's only USD$89 for the STANDARD125," there's no going back even if I tried! Suffice it to say, my Christmas budget is now fully allocated.

Why is there HONEY/TKLISOBASE/RED but no HONEY/TKLBASE/RED ? How logic even works?

Right, the arrow keys... On a TKL they'll only be beside the bottom row which is all row 3, and next to right shift which will also be row 3, so all row 3 could be your answer.
For further considerations including key feel, see the poll topic with kvad's great illustration:

But anyway, what is aesthetically fitting?
Thanks again! Yes, by aesthetically fitting i thought keeping all the keys in the same row at the same inclination, but if this means arrows are R3 ... i keep looking at the Image and i think the "all R4" seems to be the best ... yet in the poll, people do prefer the R3 variant ... hmph, hmph, tough decision.

Just buy all variants to be on the safe side!

Aaaand ordered some more. Can't afford any more keycaps now, if you add something totally awesome I'll have to re-think the whole lot :P

Hey Laser, the arrow cluster is an island all its own. If you want hardcore row regularity right across the board, well, SA is not complete enough for you. Up arrow would be R4 while the other arrows would be R3. But our available SHIFTs are either R3, or an imperfect R4:
Image
That's Round 4 SPH as it is now, with imperfectly fitting row 3 mods all round, until 7bit ships the all new right fitting R3 mods.

So there's a good case for R3 for all arrows, as good fitting mods will be those, on both the bottom rows of the keyboard.

The new shift are great in row 4 and 1 unit!

I hope we can expect extra stuff like "Fun" in row 4 / 1 unit (i have the hypermini c400 in mind...) and also some modifiers keys pack in red or black with different size and row. I don't know if it is too much to think that pretty much every kit in grey could be also propose in black or / and red

Thank you for your work.

Btw, what does SPH/BACKSPACE200 fix? The angle of the backspace?

hsu wrote:Btw, what does SPH/BACKSPACE200 fix? The angle of the backspace?
It was row 3 in Round 4. For the first time ever in keyboard history, there will be a row 1, 2 units BACK SPACE key in the SA-family.

I thought it was supposed to be that way, so that mistyping was avoided!

HONEY/STD125ISO/BASE, shouldn't it have R1 on ESC F1-F12? As the other kits instead of R3?

Edit:
The sample layout aswell?

I second this. There are a lot of people with the Pure and Beetle. I have both, and I don't know if I'll order if I can't get the correct spacebar.

I've got the Beetle and would get a set if i could get the spacebar to match. :D

I also would order ~3-5 sets if there were any of the all-R3 options left, but they were pulled before i could order :(

I just bought Round 4 SPH from mj45. He has the 'tenkeyless version for cheapskates' - what a name!

I haven't had my hands on them yet, so can I assume that the SHIFT, BACKSPACE, CAPSLOCK, TAB, RETURN are all row 3 in the 'TKL version for cheapskates' and if I am mental about the profiles, I should buy these repair kits?

Hi 7bit, would it be possible to get a Grey R3 1 Unit [ | \ ] key available? I realized the keyboard this set will probably end up on is a steelseries 6gv2, which has 1 unit [ | \ ] on R3. I'm looking for grey to match the mods and maintain the symmetrical grey 'U' colour shape around the alphas.

I can add it. If 25 are produced, the price is $160 per space bar.
