You think it's the gamers with disposable income and no self control is the root cause of this silliness?

Should we try and steer the crowd towards rare single malts and collecting those? no hang on... bad idea I don't want my whisky to cost more.
Hands off my whisky, its one of the last affordable pleasures ive got left.

Finished building my red "The Cheat" 2am this morning. I am not sure if the Russian dye sub belongs here. Will give it a few days.

Replace the black on red cherry caps with something light and it'll look quite good.

White on red cherry keycaps? I chose black on red because the the keycaps are black on beige.

They looked better on the original board. They look somewhat cheap on that.

That would be better but I think it would be best without any red caps at all.

yeah, but I don't have any front row 1x caps that would work.

I like the Cheat, but I'm not feeling it either. Why don't you have some blank Cherry keys?

I got some on some funny US ISO sets I had.

G80-2550 / 2551 are a good source for some blank bottom row keys:

Or just wait until the next key caps group buy ...

Wait! I have those! Let me dig them out.

Use those G80-2551 blank caps and it will look good.

It's not just about the colour, the profile of those Cherry logo keys doesn't match the rest of the row.

Looks much better now:

The 1x blanks actually is lower than the front row modifiers. They don't match, but I think that is just fine as lower chance for me to hit it by accident.

Ah, yes I forgot it has A profile bottom row, not B profile. It still looks better in my opinion though.

In short, the closer it is to Cherry's original design, the better it looks.

Same here. Didn't like the look much at first but really do now.

Russian font is extremely ugly. I had a nice Cherry kb years ago, since 1990 til ~1998, it survived beer and was washed in hot water afterwards. I was young and stupid and sold it along with extremely rare Aztec laser mouse (with special laser-aware green grid hard plastic mousepad).
I like how tenkeyless looks with russian legend.

Put a $250/$5 Cherry red escape on there litster bud. Actually that may look worse... Again another example of how far away we are from competing with the Korean's due to cases...

I really wonder how 3D printing will change the world. Not now, but in 5 to 10 years or however long it takes.
We are almost there Bro :)
