I was considering starting a thread at [strike]Nazi Central[/strike] geekhack, and entitling it NICE PEOPLE ONLY, but then I realized the first comment would be a 12yo "mod" telling me that was OFF TOPIC for geekhack, and my thread would be CLOSED.

Really though, thanks 60% Purely to ripster, I know enough about keyboards now that I don't need to read any more about them. I'm only here for camaraderie, and hopes that someone will continue iPad Hints, TILT aka Thing I Learned Today, Typefaces, and Big Lebowski discussions. If I can't get my daily dose of those things, in a friendly, tolerant environment, then I guess it's time to slink back out to the 'net and find a more amenable place to share my random thoughts.

Thank you for the apology! As the yipsters are wont to respond in the parlance of our times: No worries.

I was hypersensitive, I'm sure. I can be quite arcane with my humor, and when the connection is missed, or I'm simply off base, I probably do appear to be quite random, and perhaps nonsensical. In the greater scheme, I appreciate being called out, and I appreciate others' opinions, although it is not always easy to put myself in the other person's shoes--I do try. Change is hard, but good. Remember the ziplock bag tv ad from the 1980s?

I asked iMav and he said that he was cleaning up member subrorums/etc, and deleted mine since it didn't appear I was using it. and assumed I wouldn't use it based on comments I made on Deskthority. He said he would reinstate my subforum. I don't know what I would have said on Deskthority that gave that impression. I said there and I did here, that my time is greatly decreased 1) because much of my Kinesis info is mostly wrapped up, and 2) I've got some life changes that occupy more time, and different mental focus.

So I'm not clear on everything else that happened, I know Ripster was banned, but I haven't read (and won't) all the threads/posts/misc. regarding the drama. It is what it is, we all make our own beds. Plus...see my explanation above about my time/focus. And, I have a stalker! (I feel 95% better after going to court though). The only thing I really don't like that has been happening is the deleting of posts/threads. Big turn off, like a girl with B.O.

I just want to continue to work on m Kinesis thingy.

And thanks you guys, a lot of very cool PMs have come my way. It's nice to feel the love XOXOXOXO

Pah, latecomer! You only became the dominant factor after some guy left two years ago when he found out about imav's true nature. Before the first gh troll poll, which inspired you, you were a choirboy. So the question is, why did you drive traffic for 2 years to a site owned by a guy you learned you don't like? Still slow to catch up on things. I can take this even further.

I am 100% sure that is wrong. Left kanji looks like a simplified cursive of 薫, but I am not sure. Middle looks like holding. Right is tree.
