We're switching to a softphone service at work and I need to find some headsets/handsets around 20-30 euros. Either USB or 3.5 (for myself Id prefer 3.5 but whatever...) and if it is 3.5 it needs to be a split plug rather than TRRS because computers. Anybody got a headset they swear by?

Price is employer-controlled so there's not a ton of room to move on that unfortunately.

I personally prefer handsets but if I have to bite the bullet I'll wear a stupid callcenter leash.

well, maybe. but my colleagues don't always have headphones and i would prefer not to use my own stuff for work use (i already do that with my keyboard/mouse but i dont need nice headphones for calls - its their responsibility to provide me with a usable headset).

Modmic is overpriced for what it is in my opinion.

And yeah that makes sense. Why not just get a random cheap one then?
