Cherry MX compatible.

Wow, that's the same keyboard as my find a while back (that stepped ISO enter). All the big keys should have cherry stabs and the keycaps dyesubbed. Never could find a manufacturer or anything relevant about it.

Interesting !
On mine the logo is printed, it's not a sticker.
Spacebar is also the only key yellowed

It looks very similar to Deyi foam and foil switches - a rather rare CLICKY F&F switch. Regardless, the fact it uses an external coil spring makes it pretty unlikely that it's rubber dome.

When I found it I haven't able to remove a caps. The keys sound like a soft click not bad. (A little lighter than mx blue)

I've only seen this cherry board with touchpad before.
The rounded lower part of the case makes me think these are domes, but does anyone know the model number, just to make sure? It's PS/2 btw

It's probably a G81-8308, but it for sure has MX switches for the programmable keys at the top and MY switches for the rest.

Thank you, aprreciate it. Looks like a fun board, might get one

You probably wouldn't say that if you've ever tried Cherry MY

. MX black feels divine compared to them!

For sure? I don't know this board, but the F and J keycaps and the form of the case both scream rubberdome to me.

The F&J caps are normal for MY/MX switches and, yes, the shape of the case screams rubberdome but there are exceptions, e.g. the G80-1501.

I've tried them before, and I agree they are a horrible switch but this board still looks interesting

Does anybody know anything about this switch? It kind of looks like Fujitsu Peerless to me, but I doubt canon used those. Typewriter is a Canon AP 600.

Looks WAY too old to be Peerless, and the slider isn't square enough anyway. Might be leaf spring, though, hard to say.

What drives me mad is that it has the same caps for the alphas as my AP 360, which had ivory alps. Those keycaps are so nice on my KBP V60, I'd love to have a second set. Oh man, I don't know if I should get it, even if it is only 15€.
Thanks a bunch for your help

They are probably not ALPS mount though, are they?

These probably aren't, but I Fujitsu leaf spring isn't too bad for 10-15€ I guess. Who knows whether they just used regular alps on the alphas, I've seen enough weird stuff on these typewriters to be ready for anything.

Hey guys, anyone got an idea what this one is? I think I've seen it before, but I can't remember what they were called.

They look like some kind of SMK second gen switch to me.

Hm, it certainly looks like their mount, but at least the pictures in the wiki look pretty different. Any other ideas?

I'd guess an SMK cross mount slider over dome OR spring over membrane switch. The lack of a distinct housing suggests that the top case and plate are formed as a single piece. Haven't seen it before, in any case.

I'd guess dome with slider. It's one of the weirdest sliders I've seen though Oo .

While I'm really interested, I don't have the funds to buy another potential rubberdome this month... If anyone is interested in the Typewriter, it's a Canon AP 1500 and can be found on ebay-kleinanzeigen (10€+ shipping). Thank you guys a bunch!

Most typewriters I've seen are rubberdome. These would be cool for someone with an SMK board though.

Glad you found the new switch like me and thanks for the picture. I have the white variant switch look similar to it. The switch should be the SMK capacitive dome blue variant which made in Japan. Mine is brand SMK.

I'm guessing that it has a plastic backplate -- I see whitish grey underneath the keycaps. Likely rubber dome.

Looks BTC to me. Probably rubber dome or dome with slider.

Aruz switches with four tab Green Alps clones for larger keys? Weird.

It's a bit Northgate Omnikey-ish.
