That Ortek! The seller even gives DT a shout-out:

Here we go, time to let go of an old friend. This Ortek battleship has done me proud over the years but since I replaced the left chevron ALPS key (with a big thanks to someone on Deskthority for supplying it) I've just not used it and I can't spare the time to get it silky smooth again. I have owned this from new and was my daily driver for what must be 15 years. This was one of the batch that Scan computers (scan.co.uk) used to use on the front desk - I managed to persuade them to part with a brand new one and I never looked back, it has been such a great board.

The rest of the description does sound like the Alps switches are quite buggered though, and he mentions the space bar is warped and doesn't work properly :/ .

Most probably a G83 with a case completely different from G80 or G81,
but perhaps someone feels like asking

Great find - it's a Sinix keyboard from the years 1982-86. I've sent the seller a message.

I don't post great finds very often. So listen up!
How do you fancy some NeXT keyboards? Here's a bunch, in America. I just bought 6. Well, 1 for me and the others for a little group buy. The seller actually has ANSI, Spanish and German (and I think maybe French) boards available. I got in touch with him and had them merged into a single sale so I could bundle my shipping.
Here you go:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/NeXT-Non-ADB-Ke ... 2013376624
Warning: the Non-ADB boards are the good ones with Alps. The seller also has the later model, but they aren't mechs:
Fortunately, Hasu has non-ADB NeXT keyboard support built into TMK, so they are convertible quite easily! The caps are quite nice thick doubleshots. Here's our good old pal Ripster on the subject:

Hasu also makes some rather nice converters for these himself:
DanielT wrote:NeXT-USB
Just plug it in and that's it. Comes with the matching socket for Non-ADB connector and TMK firmware, which is a beauty.
I had limited space so I organised a little GB with a few of my fellow regulars. But we're all sorted now, so it's open season on these boards if you fancy.
The seller actually has a mountain of NeXT stuff:
I bought out the inventory of Bell Atlantic long ago , they were NeXT's repair service so I have stacks and stacks wrapped up in newspaper in boxes stored in my dry storage area... I actually have around 1000 NeXT computers here kind of fun.
My thanks to HzFaq for pointing me this guy's way. Hopefully he's good at wrapping! I'll nag my brother for some pics of our boards once they arrive.

Wow I love those volume keys. The legend is even cooler than the granite dsa volume keys!

Not that hard
good old Aliexpress My guess this is the source also for Hasu's adapters
This one is nice for building an adapter, and it's dirt cheap.

Good links. Exactly the kind of fiddly buggers I hate looking for! That last one is indeed cheap, but it looks a bit awkward:
Too big to put in a little converter box. Too small to cram a Teensy inside and turn
into the box!

I bought one of those NeXT boards a few weeks ago. It looks awesome. I need to get it converted though.

Seems to be a simple enough task. Hasu sells ready made converters if you don't want to get out a soldering iron and go Teensy.
@Pcaro: Ooh, an actual AEK I. What switches has it got? The monochromania has even cost the old Apple logo its six stripes!

Orange switches. One key and switch missing.

Another AEKII, this one has some pretty sexy secondary legends though.
