Apple II keyboard is only $13 shipping here but it's still a dome anyways.
Its also the point where the first non-white switches appeared.
I bought one of these from the same seller a couple of days ago. It will sit there but I love to look of the Krups edition Java Station. It's a classic!DanielT wrote: This is some rare shit http://www.ebay.com/itm/JavaStation-NC- ... Son of a!! This is exact keyboard from this thread: http://deskthority.net/keyboards-f2/the ... 11881.html that I thought I lost to the crusher. And by exact, I mean the same serial number. Maybe the second time will be the charm, although I have feeling b***a may foul things up. I'll be sure he doesn't get it cheap.courtesi wrote: NAN TAN COMPUTER CO Enhanced Keyboard CLICKY KB-6151EN ( New Old Stock )

The Deskthority Wiki doesn't have a listing for this model # combo. However, complicated Blue Alps may be in it.
Interesting, the North American Wholesale Co is Wal-Mart.courtesi wrote: NAN TAN COMPUTER CO Enhanced Keyboard CLICKY KB-6151EN ( New Old Stock )

The Java Station is a really cool piece of hardware, too bad getting one to Europe is almost impossible, the shipping is a killer. From the SUN keyboards Type 5 feels very nice, the keyboard that comes with the Java Station is very rare because it's PS/2 and has PC Layout, I don't know about the feel, it could be just a crappy rubberdome but I would still love it.snuci wrote:I bought one of these from the same seller a couple of days ago. Is there something special about that keyboard or were you kidding? I've never seen a decent keyboard from Sun and I have a Sun Sparcstation Voyager with the Sun Compact-1 keyboard (the space saver version). Pic here: http://vintagecomputer.ca/wp-content/up ... G_4782.jpg
Love the look of the keyboard; crappy key switches though.
nice, sadly the wrong side of the pond...
Ok price if you can pick it up. MX blacks, same keyboard as the one cumb.de sells, but with the logo still intact.
Even cheaper with a business address, then they ship FedEx ground. I ordered two and believe they had nine more in stock when I ordered. They arrived safe and sound and are great. I can't tell if they are vintage or modern Cherry MX. They are pretty smooth but may just be well worn!

The N in the model number should indicate that these are Alps clones, no? From what I've read, there has been a consistent pattern of A models having genuine Alps and N models having clones.Engicoder wrote:Son of a!! I own a NTC KB-6151N that has Alps SKCM Blue.Tuntematon wrote:The N in the model number should indicate that these are Alps clones, no? Seebart, in that thread I didn't see where it was confirmed that those were Cherry blue - Beardsmore had indicated that they would only have the Cherry logo on the bottom of the switch, but out of curiosity, did you ever desolder one to double-check? Or was there something else on the board that confirmed without a doubt that they were the real deal?seebart wrote: I own a NTC KB-6151N that has Alps SKCM Blue.

Again, all of this is speculative. My rumblings and those of Mr.Beardsmore.Daniel Beardsmore wrote: Blue Alps switches only have a logo on the bottom. Those look like blue Alps switches to me. We've only started to discover the blue Alps version of the 6151.
What's interesting is that it spanners my idea that the 'N' in 6151N/EN means "Nan Tan Switch" (Alps clone, I presume, as that's what my KB-6153EN is — alps.tw Type OA2), and that the 'A' in 6151A/EA means "Alps switch". It's probably that Nan Tan weren't fussy, but the label might still say 'A' instead of 'N' (more likely to change the label than the PCB). Is there a label on the case? There should be a product label plus the A/X label for the switch.
