The 84FX with Alps clones is rather good, but this is the one with genuine white Alps (84SX). There were 4 of these newly posted. One has already sold.

Hmm nice, too bad those are too far away from me. From Spokane Washington no less!

"For parts or not working" sounds about right for an A4, from everything I've heard, though.

(The desktops are far more reliable, I've got an A3020. The A30x0 keyboard is awful, though, linear spring over membrane.)

Hey , i did not mind it on my one A3010 , and they have a proper layout with caps lock off in the corner where it belongs.

And yes , ARM desktops where awesome , put them PC boys in there place at the time , and the Amega boys too.

Listen to it from the legend himself. Steve Furber and Acorn have done so much for modern computing and they do not get anywhere near enough recognition.

The damaged NTC-6151 with blue alps went for $153.50. At least b***a was gouged a bit on this one.

b***a actually lost an auction a few days ago. I guess he didn't want it that badly. This he wanted.

I dropped off at $75. No way in hell I'd pay double that. I mean seriously, I got a full Leading Edge DC-2014 for less than that.

I love how you guys have seen past the anonymity system and can identify recurring bidders like this, haha.

What I wonder is if the guy wanted this for the sake of collecting or just wanted to strip the switches out of it. What a damn premium, but his pockets are likely lined with cushions filled with money.

Even the DC-3014 boards in ANSI 101 layouts that I've seen on eBay haven't gone for as much as this rickety NTC. I'm pretty perplexed by the final bid price, but I personally do not think an NTC 6151 of any variety is worth that much. $100 tops.

When I say full DC-2014 I mean the PC and keyboard together, not just the keyboard lol

MADNESS!

Jeez, and I've seen people pay $110+ for the board alone. :?

I used to have one. It comes with nice key caps but very scratchy switches. To me, not worth 75€.

White Alps (as stated in the title) should actually be accurate.

Sellers description says white alps. Not seen a layout like that before either, it's a strange one for sure.

Layout is identical to Chicony KB-5170

Mmmm, keycaps look pbt compared to the case, and it's the layout i like (iso/ansi hybrid) and with a bonus 1.75 shift. I'd take it if it was 50$ cheaper :)

might be worth this price with dyesubs or least thick doubleshots (which is super rare on alps).

White or blue Alps.

found this : https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=73033.0 . it was the same seller and it seems he accepted a 50$ offer. If anyone from US wants the switches / case / etc for 20$, I'm willing to shell out 30$+shipping for the caps.

offtopic : my googling got me to this website : http://telcontar.net/KBK/Keycombo/keyboards.php with some info about different keyboards. haven't seen this one before.

edit : it's a perfect fit for my dream layout.
